Yab Yum - Bohdis New Seed Company

Hey everybody. I don't know anybody that hasn't had great experiences growing Bohdis genetics. As many of you probably already know he has a new seed company called Yab Yum. I thought I would start a thread in hopes of seeing some examples of his new work. Feel free to post anything Bohdi related and all the stuff you can about Yab Yum seeds.

Here are some pics of Bohdis Purple Triangle. I might have my mom and pa backwards but it's Black Triangle (Triangle Kush x 88G13 Hashplant) x Purple Unicorn17442983659646866029333321734271.jpg17442985874376691253253592445076.jpg
This was a freebie. 100% germination. Amazingly uniform plants. I topped these to make sure I didn't run out of room. They are being grown in handmade soil mixture of outdoor soil lightened with sphagnum, in 1 gal containers. I am using aquarium water for a fertilizer. My goal is to make a seed increase and test out the flower. These are on day 16 of flower. The males sexed at about 5-7 days with the females showing pistils a few days later.

I got some of these I've been wanting to try. Would love to see how these progress

I think it's about day 27/28 for these girls. I am not giving them any fertilizer. I'm just letting them go in 1 gal. They are a bit small, so it's not a really good representation of what they could really do. The smells are pretty light & floral. Their is one that has a ripe fruit almost grape like smell to it.

Good question. Seems odd he'd stray away from Bodhi, which is well known.

Edit
Maybe it's to increase prices? I've never seen a bodhi drop more than $60 for a pack from GLG.
I've never ran his gear but it's a name synonymous with good genetics so it seems like a strange move, but if he's wanting to make more on the pack then that would make sense I suppose.

I don't know too much, but I think yab-yum and nierika were on the back burner for a while. He has been through some really tough crap the last year or so including some devastating family issues. My take on it is, he has just needed a fresh start with some of his work and wanted to pursue some other creative avenues.
He has put out so much gear. I can't think of anybody that's given such high quality genetics to the community, in the last decade or so, all the while, usually at $50 per pack. A good plant is hard to put a price on, but getting rich has never seemed to be his motivation. (I'm thinking if Metallica never cut their hair in the 90's, they might be as cool as Bohdi) With all the stuff that has happened to the guy, I think if anything he needs to charge a little more just to keep doing what he wants to do.

I don't know anything more that what I've heard him talk about on the potcast with heavy daze.

His last appearance was a three parter, definitely worth a listen.

I have been buying, growing, stashing a way quite a bit of bohdis gear over the last 6 years or so. All of his 88g13 hashplant crosses and I think his snow lotus crosses will never be made again. That's kinda why I started those purple triangle with the intention of making a bit more seeds. Open pollination with 11/11 seeds germinating. I got 7 males and 4 females. I just let them do their thing and didn't pull anything until after those males were dropping tons of pollen.
