why flower now i have a couple plants going and i figured id wait because i dont want them to be tiny. should i flower now also?

Howlong they been vegging ? My rule of thumb for flower is 20-25", but keep in mind that during flower your plant can double or triple in size.

Anywayz, from your pics it looks like you dont have enuff light. What kinda lighting are you using?

Yeah I am flowering b/c I am going to be tight for space, plus this is my first grow so I kind of want to make all the mistakes and get on to the next one!!

I am no expert but couldn't you get those CFLs a little closer to the plants to get more light off them, it looks like most of the light is reflecting off the pails. just a thought.

My plants are at least a foot tall. Probably twice the size of those. If i flower at two feet am i really going to end up with 4 or five foot plants?

Most likely they will become that big, it also depends on the strain and the growing conditions. The general rule is that the plant may double or even triple in size.

Why not veg em a little longer ? The bigger the plant the more bud sites.

im worried about light penetration, because im using a 2 tube 4 ft floro over em and 3 100 watt hps lamps around em, and prob 4 or 5 cfl lights. maybe i need to pony up for a 400 hps huh? four plants this size, will i have enough light? the last three pics are of my spot and the plants i grew under the floro alone. they actually came out ok. im hoping for better this time. im using real seeds not bag seeds and more light of a better spectrum.

You`ll have enough light for 4 in my opinion. If you added the 3 x 100 watt hps lights it should make a big difference from just floro. Plus the fact that you have some good seeds, should make for a nice grow.

I lollipop my plants so i dont worry much about the light reaching the bottom, also improves airflow.

for what it is worth ricky I like my 400w hps.
