Simple Drip Irrigation?

Hey so I'm trying to grow on top of a tree house that is a fair distance from the house and I was thinking of rigging up a simple drip irrigation. probably a big bowl with pipe coming out of it with small holes drilled in it for a slow drip over the course of the day. How slow should I make drip if it will be running day and night? One drop every 10 minutes or so? Thanks!

Set them up with hydroponic misters, drippers, and hoses. Have the large container to collect the rain water, or just haul it from your house. All your chemicals and Ph can be done in this container. And connect it to an automatic timer and put desired duration of watering according to how hot and how much rain your area receives. I am doing this with my potted outdoor this year. Pots outdoor dry out quick, keep on top of it or else you'll roast your plants. I prefer large organic beds of soil. Grows the best plants . The deeper you go, the better. Buff the original soil if it is suitable as a medium. And add what ever you desire, be sure to mix evenly through out the bed as you want to avoid hot spots of nutrients. (bat guano, sea sand) etc. Everyone has their own preference on what soil to use. SOIL is key to a successful grow. Keep that in mind and good luck, looking forward to seeing the cones !

Yes, 10 seconds per should do well. Maybe 1 drop per 6 seconds may do better. A little fish emulsion & liquid seaweed to the water tank would be cool.
