humidity help

my humidity is 30%....f@$# i tryed putting a couple cups of water next to my plants with a heating pad underneath and nothin changed. do i need a humidifier? is there a cheaper way? how do i keep the humidity up in my box if im constantly pushing fresh air in?

try putting some wet rags in there and maybe a few paper towels in the cups to help give the water something to wick up and evaporate off of.

fuck all of that rags etc cups of water, there just all ways of dripping water or spilling water into electrics.... i had the same problem untill i got a cool mist humidifer from argos £24.00 it cost iv had for 3 years and its never let me down... plus it lowers temps in the room 2. 2birds with 1 stone if u ask me..

rags worked pretty well for me here in the states, mate. and i never had problems with water and electronics, thats only for the clumsy and unbalanced.

well i broke down and borrowed a humidifier. (told my dad i was sick) got it up to 60% now my tallest plant is tipin over. could i shock it with humidity? how much is a cool mist humidifier in dollars? cuz i need to drop my temps. thanks for the advice!

do you have the humidifier running continuously

i did, i shut it off now tho cuz im up to 65%. but all my plant's leaves are sagging now and im geting worried about em.

I would be helpful to know if your plants are seedlings, are you in the veg state flower state??

yea that prolly would help. theyre 11 days old, second set of serrated leaves are out.
