Harvest time!

so its not really ready but i gotta harvest cause i'm leaving for about 2 weeks and i'm too paranoid to leave it by itself, plus too cheap to invest in an irrigation system or anything. I think it'll still be a decent high. what do you guys think?

i actually fed her for the first time the last 2 waterings. so i guess i'll stop from here on. and I'll giver her a good flush next water.

personally dont trust anyone with watering your stuff, just take the loss and flush the hell out of your plants tonight then let them go for at least a night or two of no watering and then you should be cool. They look pretty close so you shouldnt lose much (potency and weight).

ok. the only reason i'm so paranoid is cause im not living in the most private of situations, plus i made the mistake of showing my closest friends the plant during veg cause i thought it was cool but now its like everytime someone comes over they immediatly go to the closet like "let me see how my girl is doing". so yea, leaving for two weeks gives me worries even if i was to figure out a way to water her. The only other thing I can think to do is move her somewhere else where I kno she could be taken care of and not stolen or anything, but i doubt i'll find a place.

What about getting two pots that fit inside each other and creating a simple wick system our getting a self watering container they can't be very expensive and it would be worth it. you would have to transplant but if you are careful it shouldn't affect the health at all.

the thing is, watering the plant isn't my biggest concern. i'm pretttty paranoid about leaving it for two weeks because so many ppl kno about it and idk. i just don't wanna do jail time or get robbed man.

ok so heres the million dollar question, would you guys:

1. leave the plant alone for 2 weeks, set up some type of watering and lighting system and trust that no maintenance ppl or robbers will come into my place.
OR
2. Cut it down on Sunday and risk the buds being premature and sucking.

and heres a question for you... if you do choose choice A would you be paranoid as hell for two weeks that your your gone? in my experience theres always another seed or cutting ready to be made great. and no your buds wont suck they just might not be as potent and big as they would 2 weeks from now. the weed will still get you high. wait whats the difference between choppin it and leavin the buds there to dry and not choppin it and lettin her grow? and if there is a difference just chop the girl and enjoy her imho.

get some seeds in water the day before you leave so you can come home nad do it all over again!!

I would rather have them live for however long they can and then die and start curing in the pots while you're away then chop them now.

IF you won't spend $20 on the most basic drip system or wick system then just give them some extra water and let them keep going however long they can. When you get back they will be dead, but hey who cares...

The bud will still be there and it will be better and fatter than if you chop now.

No I clearly didn't read the whole thing I just responded to his first post.

However I see no gain in security whether they are in the pots or chopped and bagged up. Someone can break in a steal it either way unless you intend to store the harvest somewhere else.

Also, with nobody there to monitor the drying or curing you could come home to a nice big bag of mold, or bud so chalky dry it turns into dust when you touch it if you leave it out to dry that whole time.

And all kinds of people know about you growing? You're fucked every which way.

I was planning on chopping and bringing it with me. but wut you said about it dying in the pot isn't such a bad idea. it would prlly live around a week and half prlly longer. so maybe I could just hide the plant somewhere
