Hydro Flushing?

OK- How long does it take to flush a hydro plant??

I flush for 2 weeks prior to harvest. I do this for taste in hydro. There are many arguements over the effectiveness or even the neccesity to do this.

Depends on how dialed you have your grow. If you are not overfeeding then it should taste fine with a week or even a few days of plain water. If you are loading lots of nutes two weeks.

Don't forget it can be medium specific.....if your medium retains water then it will require a longer flush than one that doesn't

Also nute specific, or so it seems. Some manufactureres recommend it while others do not.......as NewGrowth said-if your not overfeeding it won't take long.

I flush for 3-4 days (hydroton) taste, burn and smoke have been smooth each time.......big difference when compared to the couple plants I didn't flush.

hey have you tryed bubping your light up to 14-16 hr just for the week or two that you flush?? bud's get tight works for me.

Never heard of that. What prevents them from vegging again? That's how I reveg them. I just bump up the light cycle. Two weeks and you get new veg. I dont see how it would harden the buds.

OLd What kind of ppms do u max ur indica strains out at during flower?
