First Timer - When to start the 12/12 cycle

Here's where I'm at. 3 Thai Skunk indoor plants, 6 weeks into veg, plants are 11", 9", 8". From doing a lot of reading I think I'm supposed to start my flowering cycle. One post said that during the flowering stage the plant can double or even triple in size, that true? For Thai Skunk plants apparently they grow up to 30" or so from what I read, so does that mean they will reach that size after the flowering or do I veg until they get about that big?

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

they'll stretch that tall, start flowering now if that's your final height goal (30")

Flower now. They will grow taller. I give myself min 1 1/2 to 2 feet for flower. Don't wait and run out of room. Like I did the first time. I had to cut and mod to make more room for the plants and in the process I messed up some budz by rubbing and bumping on them. Good Luck
