I have three best friends who are all muslims (yes, their names are Ali, Muhammed, and Hassan, respectively), and it's despicable to villainize them.

1. Do you support troops? Well, it is a Baptist church that goes around protesting soldiers funerals saying God hates them. I live in Kansas, and I am ashamed because of them.
2. How many homosexuals, bis, transsexuals are murdered, beaten, or raped a year by "good Christians"?
3. How much persecution has been enacted in the name of the Judeo-Christian God? The Almighty Allah has nothing on that wanker.
4. Before you open your mouth, realize that maybe you shouldn't listen to what the biased news says, or your friend/family/neighbor says, or what other hatemongers say. Do your research. I mean THOROUGH research. Then compare to all major religions. Then close your mouth.
I'm done. Done dealing with racists who say they aren't racists, who hide behind the bullshit shield of "Oh, I have a friend" or "I know/seen a few". I wouldn't condemn someone for spelling, maybe that is all he can muster. Now his ideas might be a bit over the top, but you have to admit it's the radicals that get all the press. Here's my question: Why aren't the decent hard working upright Muslims protesting these radicals with all their might. If radical Christians were killing Muslims or anyone for that matter, I'll bet the good christians would sound off. I'm a christian, I don't go to church or belong to any particular sect, but I believe in Christ, and I condemn the killing in Iraq and Afganistan by all parties. I don't believe you solve the worlds problems by killing people. "Thou Shall Not Kill". Seems pretty clear to me.

I will tell you why they are not protesting it. Because even the nice muslims can't denie the fact that all the killing going on is based off the root of there religon. KILL ALL INFADEL's. They may not be doing the killing, but in there hearts there not against it. If they are there not Muslim.

sorry... i was refering to my bad spelling... and i totally agree with your point... but i don't think some of the contributors see it the same... the key here is some "radicals"... and to say that some one has to apologise for something that all a small group within a larger group does is not quite valid... that is like saying all Indian (hindus) should apologise publicly to sikhs for what indira ghandi did to them... or that all turks should have to apologize to armenians for the genocide or that all germans should be critisized for their countries role in the Holocoust.... we understand that these things happen but to say that these people who belong to a group represent the actions of the group is wrong...
like i said before if anyone bothers to read... The majority of the people hurt in such violent attacks are not (non-muslim infidels) rather muslim people suffer the brunt of the attacks...so who should they be appologetic to? and second.. to say that this types of actions are commanded by god... would mean that all 1.6 BILLION muslims would be at our doorsteps ready to kill us.... and they would have been doing this from their inception... so i think it is a bit harsh to critize the mass... for the action of a few

i have to verify this with my mate... but i know we've had this conversation before... he says that this is not the case... that these fanaticals are using verses out of context to kill people... and he says these blokes don't even discrimnate they say that all people even muslims who don't agree w/ them are infidels... so they can be killed... and he said that there is supposedly in the history of islam similar things... where people were fanaticals and killing anyone who didn't agree with them....he brought up another point... the 911 attacks and the 711 (london underground) were not just targets against westerners... but rather there were muslims in these places that died and were injured... i don't think they would have agreed in there hearts that something like that is good... Grow up Ladies and Gentlemen... use some grey matter... if you still can't... seek some help from Molly...

Can I just say that I myself am Northern Irish, and you Mark, make me feel firstly embarrassed, secondly ashamed, and thirdly fookin angry. You really need to learn first a lot of literacy skills, secondly a lot of social skills, and thirdly you need to a least open a book or web page on the subject that spews from your mouth like shit from a cows arse. O.K. Ma idiot Carra, first off, where does it say anywhere in my post that I am defending Muslims ? Secondly, how do you come to the assumption that I have a hatred of Catholics, infact where did I utter the word catholic ? Please don't get my post confused with anything other than a personal attack on your stupidity.
I only asked about the freedom thing because, I don't know of anyone either republican or loyalist, who were imprisoned or oppressed for thier political beliefs, other than those who procceded to commit deeds that endangered the lives or well being of the people of Northern Ireland (whatever thier political views). Without watching the video you so sagely suggested, I will hazard a guess that you got the word freedom confused with the word money.
Again I have everything to be proud of, I live in a beautiful and prosperous country, I also have the privilege of legally holding two passports and your right I'm not Irish, I'm Northern Irish. I was born here, so was my father, and his father. Even tho I have a British and Irish passport I still consider myself Northern Irish.
If I look into MY history what do you suppose I'll find ? School reports, baby photo's ? If I look into the history of my country and countrymen I think I'll find that its much the same as yours.
