the message is messed up and i dont feel like fixin it, but you can read my replies underneath everyone of yours.
Yeah, that post was a bit too much of a mess to really read, but I'm gonna respond to snippits
"Well it dont get dark here until 7 or 8." -- that's good for you. In the winter, it gets dark here at 5, like I said
"My dad went through the neighborhood and hung the lights and connected them to the main line so no one had to pay electricity on them and the city never knew he put them there. so they're basically free lights for our community. No one is paying for them." -- ok, so
that's why you're so defensive about this stealing issue....your dad's stealing electricity
"I've never known a kid to get hit in a residential neighborhood anyways." -- once again, that's good for you. The only kid I've ever known who was hit and killed by a car was in a residential area
I would think most instances of kids being hit by cars would occur in residential areas. I don't know many small children who go strolling across the Blvd
"you're assuming i dont know any deaf children, and why are you even bring this up, it has nothing to do with our arguement. Sure i know deaf children, I know they cant fucking hear, duh! So what?" -- um, YOU'RE the one who brought up deaf kids. In your post you said the kid would have to be deaf to not hear the car, and I'm saying so fucking what? What if he is deaf? There ARE deaf children. You're the one pulling things outta your ass, don't get mad at me for responding to them.
"Yes do un to others as you would have them do un to you. That statement in no way referrs to the fact that getting a light, you paid for, off of a pole, is wrong." -- it has everything to do with knowing that stealing is wrong. Taking something that doesn't belong to you is stealing. If a cop caught you stealing a street light, even the one directly in front of your house, you'd still be busted.
And all this homeowner shit. I'm sorry, but most HOMEOWNERS I know don't need to STEAL street lights. Not only are they usually more mature than that, but they can afford to buy them. If someone's talking about stealing street lights, I assume they don't own a home. I mean come on, who can afford a house but not a light bulb
"Ok, dont bother with it. Only because you cant Prove that statement wrong. Prove it, and ill will rest my case!" -- I don't have to prove you wrong, you're the one making an outrageous claim, YOU have to provide the proof to back it up.
You can't just make some out there statement and challenge others to prove it wrong. You have to give some of your proof that it's TRUE in the first place, for us to respond to.
