Ventilation is definitely going to be an issue.
You did good on the CFL's but if you want to do better then,
You need that light!

thats pretty much the same as the light im using.
if its not too hot where you are you should be able to get away with the fan youve got.
all ive got is a small desk fan blowing across the tops and i can keep the light pretty close.

I already bought the light, and its the middle of the winter here in northeastern U.S., right now with out anything in my grow room, my hygrometer says that the temp is 68F. I was gonna get the 400w, but i figured i would rather get the 250 and then upgrade VS. Spend the money on a good 400w, and then have to go cutting holes in my walls, or not even being able to use it at all. Worst comes to worst I upgrade to a 400w, but even still the 3 plants I grow with my 250w will still def. be worth it. At the end of the day, it is the Christmas season, and the light was only 100$ to my door.

Gracias, now I'm thinking about doing all plants LST and also I was trying to decide whether or not to grow haze 19 X Skunk, or strawberry double diesel.:weed:just can't figure that one out.I got some Big bud seeds left right now though in addition to that.

i gots the same light, but how far do i keep it from the seedlings?
right now its about 2 feet away, and their not burning, but i dont wanna rush anything. im used to growing outdoors and it seems to me their growing really fast.

just a standard bulb and reflector type of deal,i'm wondering how much of a concern ventilation is gonna be, is the fan I have in my BB grow on my avitar enough?

Dude i got the same light,i wish i would of spent the extra 5 dollars on the 400w...But the 250w still kicks ass..

I got a lamp from them, the 400 refurb.

The ballast banged into the reflector and dented it some what during shipping, not enough for me to gripe to them. an email about it could avoid that issue. good response time from them. humms alot but has been in service for 10 months now without fail.

I would definitely go with the Haze x Skunk. 2 well established strains your sure to get good results. That's a Sativa x Indica. i prefer Kush x Skunk. That's Indica x Indica. "Sativa gets you high, and Indica gets you stoned".

Hey dude, I'm also in NE. I also use a 250 watt in a 3X3X6.5 grow space. I have a "cooltube" type hood and use a 6 inch exhaust with 6 inch tubing and I keep a constant 78 degrees with the lights on. 250 watts put out very little heat compared to 400+ HPS.
