Why in the world would you be surprised, Med? After all, all the rioters were doing was disrespecting the sovereign property rights of other's ... which you do all the time. Read your above statement over again ... "I'm heading down to take out a few rich assholes!" See the correlation?

Until some one does that there is nothing but a bunch of conjecture and hearsay. What's on the news is slanted one way or the other, depending on the news station.

What if the invasion is by our own military? If chaos is in the streets, they will hunt down the rioters like dogs. Which will give them an excuse to harm everybody, because apparently... anyone can be a terrorist. Ever heard of the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007? How about the Terrorist Watch List that contains one million+ American names? And of course, everybody knows about the Patriot Act.

They are pushing the American people to the edge. Look at what they've done to our economy... and how bad they manipulated gas prices months ago. More and more people are starting to get pissed off, and soon enough there will be a rebellion.


Oh, and then there's a possibility for a terrorist attack. Which would obviously put our country upside down. So much things could happen tomorrow and nobody is doing anything about it. Nobody wants to store food, collect precious metals... hell... nobody even wants to think about it.


It's way passed time to start paying attention. Buy store-able foods for you and your family (we have a depression looming, come on people!). Buy guns and ammo before they are taken off shelves. SAVE YOUR WEED SEEDS!

Anyone ever see Children of Men? Watch it. It will give you a good idea of what things are going to look like in the next year or two. Besides the "women can't make babies anymore" part. lol

It's impossible for our own military to invade us. The problem with your argument is that it contains a glaring logic error, in that our military, (being ours) would be on our soil, and thus would not have invaded us.

Though, I'm assuming you meant what if the military was being used to establish an oppressive tyranny. I don't know... that's a tough question.
