Just got a ph probe meter today and the clones tested at 6.5 and the water I'm using is just under 7. Looks like the green is starting to return in the affected leaves and they are still growing. There is a lot to learn which I'm finding really interesting.

The two clones I took from laterals are growing and one of them has started putting out 3 laterals on a node where as the mother and the other clone have two per node until they alternate. I wonder if this is a throw back or something, but 3 laterals per node sounds good so will see how she grows. As for the other 3 clones that were the lower suckers I took, one looks like it might not make it which is ok because they were an experiment anyways. Next time I'm only cloning laterals and will take some more when these clones are big enough.

As for my flowering babe, she appears to be doing fine with lots of nice white buds developing all over :mrgreen: . Can't wait till she is ready to try :blsmoke: .

Update yeah... Sorry it's been awhile. Tonight I pulled apart 4 of the clones because they had died off only to find that the rockwall cubes were saturated compared with the surrounding potting mix that was not socking wet. So I'm not too impressed with using the rockwall as it seems to have held too much water around the base of the clones causing the same symptoms as for over watering aaaaarrrrgh. I think the largest might survive if the wool cube can dry and stop drowning it. As for the others I've removed the rockwall from the roots and placed them under the surface of the potting mix to see if anything will grow.

If there is a next time for cloning then I will try a different method.

As for my flowering plant she is growing well and is covered in golden buds glistening with tricones. :mrgreen:

yea rockwool holds water well you g2 be carefull with it.

I have just started some BB cuttings in rockwool that are all soaked. I think I might learn from your experience now and let them dry out a little. Sorry to hear about them though.

Looks like I'm loosing the last clone also. I'm thinking that after flowering I might try and return her to 18/6 light and try for some more clones. Next time I'm getting a cloning kit and following the instructions with the kit.

Ok here is a good pic of my babe into 7 weeks of 12/12 flowering. Some of the stigmas have started to turn brown but most are still white and the buds are dusted in white glistening tricones which smell and taste sweet and a little citrusy - just want to eat them. I don't have a microscope to check the tricones, but I think she is getting close to harvesting.

NICE PLANT!!! BUt she doesn't look close to harvest TO ME.. more of those fan leaves should have turned yellow and the main cola does not even look developed... maybe it just the picture.. are you sure it is getting 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness... she looks at least 3 weeks from harvest to me.. maybe even 5.... more pictures ?

it generally takes about 9-12 weeks depending on strain.yellow leaves are another sign cuase it uses up the last of its nutes stored in leaves. when the top laves start yellowing then its getting to be prime. also make sure you water with plain water about 1-2 weeks before harvest to leach out the soil so you dont end up with chem buds.

Thanks guys. Just couldn't help myself tonight so took a little bit of bud off her and have just had one bowl and WOW what a happy body stone. She was soooo sticky and juicy with tricons that my fingers were sticky and I'm so fuuuckeen high...

Well I harvested today, took 85 percent and thinking of turning back to 18/6. Had three piles - fan leaves, glistening with tri-cones fan leaves and lastly glistening buds. I used scissors and every thing was so sticky I couldn't get it off my hands for hours. Using absorbent towel for drying in shallow open containers.

Got the buds loosely in lined x5, 2litre containers for drying. Just had some tonight that I took 3 nights ago and have a real happy body stone. A friend of mine who's been toking for over 40 yrs of his life gives it a 11 out of 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. So am feeling good, laying back and enjoying some of our efforts (includes all those too numerous to name who's help I had) and mentally sending out happiness to all...

Now what to do with all those fan leaves that don't glisten with tri-cones???
