Hi,
I finally got my first setup started, and after a harsh transplanting shock (added with a cold room and too much/too close light, this caused the bubba leaves to turn purp) they started recovering really well once the climate was well controlled and the light was moved farther away. Now they're about 4 weeks old and I think they're suffering from some sort of deficiency. The leaves are curling and winding somewhat sideways, and the lower leaf tips are turning yellow. From what I've read my first idea was a potassium deficiency, but I want a second opinion before I do anything about it. The fat leaved bushy plants are bubba kush, and they started showing signs of this at least a week ago, and it has been progressing.
Setup:
Flood and drain in rockwool cubes, watered every 3 hours
PH between 5.5 and 6.3
Nutes: Botanicare Premiumblend Pro Grow
Nute levels: between 350 and 420 ppm (yeah, the highest i've seen is actually 420)
Water temperature 68-72*
Air temperature 65*-73*
Humidity 20-40%, not controlled, just measured
Lighting: Currently only one 600w halide about 3.5-4' from plants, 24 hours
Also i've been adding CO2 by just spurting it from the tank every time I'm in the room.
Strain: Mostly lavender, with 5 bubba kush
In the past few days I've started to notice similar effects starting to take place in some of the lavender plants, to a much smaller degree:
