No smell!? WTF is this!?!?

I have 3 girls, all 45 days into flower, crystals, buds, all that and there's no smell!

I keep hearing about how much money people spend on carbon filters, however, my plants do not smell AT ALL. Only when you brake the tricombs can you smell the cannabis on your fingers. I don't get it. They're all early misty grown from seed in soil with fox farm nutes. I'd say they were about a week or maybe 2 before harvest. Check the journal if you'd like. I only wish I got seeds from this grow if it's really gonna be odor free through the end.

No you don't wish you had a strain like that. It generally means you have a low quality plant.
It's not uncommon, but not something you want to choose a plant for.

Does your bud look all sticky icky and crazy covered with trichomes like some other peoples plants do on this board? I mean loaded with trichomes?

Probably not.

well it is an inconvienince for your plant to stink in veg to the point that your not secure

ive had bud in veg and flower that had very little smell and after curing it turned out to be decent bud... not great but decent

yea well i have to run an 8 in exhaust fan threw 3 carbon sheets for 4 plants in veg....... its a great smelll when its not in your bed room

No smell,is good in my view,no need to buy odor control products.Snip a bud, and sample it.

I've been growing WW this past year and it has been very mild in terms of the smell. I've not had to use any kind of odor filter.

the carbon sheets don't do much for smell..you need something with activated charcoal to really do the job

I have so many other plants growing in my closet that you can't smell the bud until you're right on top of it.

Nature's air filter - plants.

Why spend money on carbon?

Im dealing with the same thing right now. 29 days flowering, buds looking nice and fat covered in trichomes, but no odor until physically touched by hand. Plant smells kinda like b.o.

Says who? Keep some catnip around. You can keep it in tiny pots and it'll do just fine with weekly watering, and it doesn't even need direct lighting.

Same with lichens. You can grow them on a rock, all they need is a spritz of water daily.

They both are quite effective in filtering out air.

In addition to catnip and lichens, you could also do light herbs, like basil and thyme, which do well in small pots. They however do require a little direct lighting.

I think you could even grow alfalfa grass in the closet and the surface area of that even in a small container makes for a great smell filter.

i had several durban poisons that had little odor as well, but after everything was cut, dried and cured, it certainly had a nice aroma. not an indoor strain, but i'm just saying...

outdoor doesnt smell a whole lot typically thanks too amazing natural ventilation
