(PICS) - N to think i was a SERIOUS n00b 5 months ago....

This is pretty much a repost of my latest update in my journal, but since alot of you guys arent tuned in, i figured i'd throw the pics up in this forum, to let you guys check out my progress. I cant believe that just a few months back i was so new to growing sensi it was rediculous. Thanks to the help of some vets here at RIU, and a shitload of reading, ive made it 3/4 of the way through my 2nd grow, and i gotta say, this is just a tad bit better than i did on my 1st grow, lol. Ok, So well start with the BlueCheese#1. Shes amazing man, straight up. She stinks like hell, Shes fillin out, and shes lookin good. The snapping and bending of her branches worked beautifully, and i dont think that shit would have worked out even half as well if i didnt do this shit. They healed up, and have some huge bubble lookin joints now at each bend that ive made. The two main colas are turning into Donkey Dick fuckin monster nuggets,n since i still have somethin like 2-4 weeks left, im assuming that theyre just gonna get bigger, n end up being some HUGE motherfuckers by the end of this thing here. Check the bitch out for yourself

Next we have BlueCheese #2.
Shes short, bushy,and every single main branch has a nice sized GIANT cola on it thats swelling up bigger by the day man. Big fuckin hairy buds(still waiting on some calyx action to swell up, but its happening slowly but surely), pungent ass smell, n shes just gettin fuckin ignorant man. Its seriously amazing that shes growing out like this, i was worried ten days ago that the girls woudnt fill out lol.

N Whiteberry. Shes putting on her sugar coating at the moment, although not as heavily as id like. But reguardless, thats gotta be the only explanation that i can come up with to explain why her nugs havent exploded yet. I know shes gonna get huge, because im takin good care of her just like the others, i guess im just gettin a little impatient cuz were nearing the end of week 5 of flower right now. Either way man, shes lookin seriously danky, and i cant wait for her to turn into somethin really special man.

The next two plants i had to take pics of together sort of, because i tied two of the Twilight branches down to the Northern Soul growbag. It was the only way i could get the branches down away from the 1000w enough to where it didnt burn the leaves, lol.

So heres Northern Soul. Man, seriously shes a fuckin BEAST dude. Shes lookin awesome. No problems, no complaints, nothing. Just a fuckin nice ass plant to grow. She stinks like a motherfucker, and her nuggets are getting huge. just like the rest of the plants, right now her hairs are whats predominantly showing right now, but the calyxes will swell out and well see what her actual buds look like hopefully within the next week, but for sure within 2.Cant wait man, i freak out every morning when i check these bitches out cuz i know its one day closer to the harvest, and its comin fast

And now, i have twilight. She actually is lookin pretty damn good if i do say so myself. Her buds are a little skimpy, especially for a plant thats supposedly a heavy yielder, but all her popcorn nuggets are filling out, and i think ill get at least an ounce out of her. Shes gonna be some good smoke. No purple in her yet, but i think that im gonna close the heating vents in the grow room during the last few days before harvest, to drop the temps down, and maybe try to change her color for some bag appeal. Well see though man, i may just be perfectly happy with some killer purps reguardless of what color she is, lol.

The Widows are doin good man. No signs of pistils yet though. There are preflowers, so i should see some any day now. Theyre about 18" tall right now, and really floppy n lanky lookin, but theyll toughen up real soon, and i really think ill end up with some awesome plants in the long run with these girls here. Nothin really to speak of about these girls yet. theyre doin great

N heres what happened with one of my twilight's tops when i first put the 1000w in there man. I just thought it would be cool to leave the plants right where they were because everything was goin great, and throw the 1000w in with the tops almost touching the damn cooltube. WRONG, lol. So i tied her down, and now shes doin better - i just cant believe i let that shit happen man, it fuckin sucks..

N also, im sure you guys will notice that every plant has burnt tips man. I know that sucks, but its from when i overused that fuckin Purple maxx, and burnt them all to a minor degree. Im still using the PMaxx, but in moderation now. I go once a week now rather than with every watering.

--Thanks for checkin my update out everyone. Its just awesome to see what the forums and asking questions, and reading up on your stuff can do for you if your serious about getting into growing. Studying and paying attention to what people tell you in here really is a reward in itself, and as you can see, the payoff is awesome. I have about 3-5 weeks until i chop my girls down, varying from plant to plant, and theyre just gonna keep getting bigger as long as i keep doin what im doin. I cant thank RollItUp enough for what its done for me, and i cant thank you Veteran Growers out there enough, who have helped me throughout my learning process, and have made me the grower i am right now. Im planning my next grow out, which is gonna be perpetual with a WHOLE LOT of changes, and i wouldn't have a clue what i was doing if it werent for all of you guys. So seriously from the bottom of my heart, Thank You All.


N For those of you who dont know my setup, im Using:

1 1000w HPS digital ballast setup (used a 600w MH/HPS up until about 7 days ago)

3 Gal growbags, filled with FF Ocean Forest soil, with 3 Tbs of Dolemite Lime mixed in to balance the Ph

FF trio of nutes - Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom - along with Humboldt County's Purple Maxx, Grandma's Molasses, and the occasional dose of Cal/Mag, and Roots Organics HP bat guano. Also used Blue Mountain Organics Super Plant Tonic for the end stages of veg/beginning stages of flower.

480cfm Vortex knockoff, Growbright Jr Carbon Filter, and 6" ducting, not venting outside, just into a larger room due to privacy restrictions.

Plants:

Paradise Seeds Whiteberry (1)

Big Buddha Blue Cheese (2)

Paradise Northern Soul (1)

Dutch Passion Twilight (1)

Seedsman Seeds White Widow(2)

-Had a Red Diesel, and a Powerskunk growing out, but i gave them to friends due to space and time constraints. Just focusing on this grow for now, and will be moving into a bigger house of my own, with a full basement to play in

Ive only been using it for 3 weeks now, and honestly things were kinda slow going up until last week - so i guess i couldnt really say that it slowed the growth down.

one plant turned purple, and has mad trichs.

the other looks pretty damn good too, but not as much purple. both plants had purple characteristics. but the plant I sprayed PM with looks a lil smaller nug wise. maybe its a gene thing I dont know..Ive started growing in oct, so everything is still trial and error.

..WOW dude, you got some nice ass lookin plants goin on there brother. I dont foliar feed, ive been adding a 1/2 tsp per gallon to my water every other feeding. But in 2 weeks i might switch up for 2 weeks, and then finish up with my Gravity. Either way man, i just hope my nuggets look even HALF as nice as yours do when mine finish out man. Mad props for that shit, seriously. N i do see what your sayin about the difference, and i dont know what id do personally, sacrifice girth for trichomes, or the other way around, lol, either way your winning out man

the strain I am workin with is gnarly..It was bread up in humboldt, and I think im one of the only dudes growing it..I have a mother Im about to pull mad clones off of. i want to keep this one going!!! if you have an extra plant you should try the foliar spray once a week, or I think maybe I even did it every 5 days. I was experimenting..

your plants look good too man!! you have way more nuggage. Im only gonna get a zip if Im lucky.

Im using gravity too. I started that in the 6th week, and fed for 3 consecutive waterings.

N Smoke, i may try the foliar feed method with my ladies on the next grow. Last time around i foliar fed n ended up with all kindsa problems because my lights were too close to the plants. N this time around i just put a 1000w in the tent, so shits ALOT more intense than it was about a week or so ago, so im a little scared to foliar feed anything to these babies - i dont wanna fuck up the leaves because i dont have anything thatll break up the mist fine enough to prevent the magnifying glass effect. Id have to give each plant a good shake after each foliar feed to make sure there were no big beads of water stuck on the leaves, n with this one im trying hard as shit not to stress out the plants in any way shape or form. But ill try that shit for sure next time around. With the Gravity, i thought you were only supposed to use that for the last two weeks before harvest, or even the last week before harvest at double the dose? Shit if its workin for you with no problems that early on i might try usin it in a week or two onward. That should be interesting for sure, lol.

Did you find that it DOES help the ladies pack on the weight?

when you foliar with pm you do it as soon as the lights go off.. Im still testing gravity to see when the best time to apply it is. I dont apply anything 2 weeks before I chop.

haha..thats what we're supposed to do with this stuff!! I might try your way to on a plant. I have like 10 new clones. Im sure there are all kinds of ways to get results out of these products.

I had 2 white rhino plants flowering at the same time. I harvested one about a week ago, and let the other one go on longer. The plant that is still growin has swollen up like crazy the past week. Im wondering if gravity has helped in this..I havent fed her anything in like 2.5 weeks. She is ready to go the buds are weighing the branches down.

Great looking girls ya got there bro! Keep up the good work. And don't be afraid to feed your girls right up until the end either, they didn't put that in the directions to fuck things up for you. I always feed til the end and never flush before harvest. Just got done arguing that point in another thread. "First Timer...do I need to flush my plants?" Dated 12/27, if you want to read it. If you're growing in soil, it's not necessary.

its just a color enhancer...so if your plant has purple traits it will bring them out...or blue traits...whatever the color will be. those two plants in the pics are the same strain..I also have another plant of the same strain I have been feeding pm to, and its not purple. weird shit.
