question about fertilizing

how do i fertilize my plants? put the fertilizer in the water and use it to water them?

dump q i'm sure, but i can't find an answer..

i've got Pure Blend Pro Grow, vegetative formula, organic, from botanicare. 3-1.5-4

i also have some 'root juice' root stimulator from omri, can i add that to the water too?

plants are about 3 weeks old, few inches tall using 400w MH lighting

I mix up my nutes in gallon jugs but I am growing in soil.

If you are using Botanicare its pretty strong stuff! I would start at 1/4 strenght. About 1/4 tsp to a gal of water plus the root juice. Then bump it up to 1/2 strenght after a couple weeks. I f you add a 1/4 tsp of Sweet and CalMag to your nutes it will help with deficencys. You should only fertilize every other watering and I would not use Botanicare nutes @ full strenght. Thats how I fried a couple of my girls in late flower!

I use botanicare products and they are strong.....definitely start with 1/4 strength for a couple weeks then go to half strength...... 1/2 strength will burn up seedlings......

You want to buy cal mag so you dont get calcium and magnisium deficentcies

i mixed em up, root + veg

the root stuff says to use for the first 2 weeks, is it ok to use now for a few weeks, should i stop using it after then?

did the 1/4 on the veg formula, thanks a lot guys i'd of given it closer to full dosage!!

also the botanicare flowering fertilizer i have says for hyro only, can i use this??

(i inherted this stuff from a guy who got busted, is case u were wondering why i possibly got the wrong stuff)
