My first ever grow in closet

Lookin good. Still hard to see the hairs and such. Do you have a macro setting on your camera?? Right now your at about 10 weeks. Are you watching trichomes? I lean towards letting them go till really done regardless of time. Looks very nice, you should be happy with yourself. :)
 
Came back today after not watering for 1 day and she was completely bent over and i had nothing to hold it up and i had to leave so i harvested it about a hour ago. i will get pics later!
 
yeh i trimmed it like 3 hours and still not done well here are some pics of my first harvest.............

ok i been dry hanging my girl for 4 days now the stems are not staping but the buds feel dry and its almost time for curing when i first start to cure do i fill the jars with buds to the top or only hafe way and how many time a day should i open the jar and for how long?
 
I weighted it today and the dry weight is?????











 40grms!! at least because i smoked a few gs and some bowls but and the actual weight was 35.6 and and the buds feel actually to dry for some reason but now iam just curing it for 2 weeks then time to start smoking:bigjoint:bongsmilie:eyesmoke:
 
fill your jars loosely. Your stems should crack when bent but not break, that's when they are ready for jars. the buds may seem too crisp but overnight in the jar should make them moist again. Dont forget to air the jar out twice a day for 10 or 15 min. Doesn't hurt to pull them out of the jars for the first several days during the "burp". Have fun!

alright man ive been curing now for 5 days and they feel alot more moist now do you think the weight will get more less? and wat do i do after i burp it?
 
Make sure the stems have not become bendy again if they feel moist. Its a balance..LOL, I just got it down good on my last batch. I blow in my jars when I first open them to circulate the air then leave them open for 15/20 minutes. I do that morning and evening. Once the buds get to where they feel fairly dry when you open to burp you can leave the jar shut and check on it for excess moisture every couple days. Remember, too much moisture brings mold, not enough and it dries to quick.

Nice looking plants bro! I am also trying to set up my first indoor grow but I am still a lil hazy on a few things.

Where did you get your HPS light? I see a 250w at Home Depot - http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs...langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100011704 . Im not sure if this will work??

And more importantly, how big is your box and how did you set it up? I just need to set up a grow box correctly and im good to go! I want to get started, nice plants keep it up
 
I have an area thats 2' by 1.5'.. My question is simple. Am i able to use a 250 watt HPS for both vegging and flowering. As long as i make the 12/12 switch?
