Having Problems Germinating

The other day I put 16 seeds on a moist paper towel and then layed another moist piece over that. Afterwords, I stuck the papertowels in a ziplock bag and threw them on top of my CPU to get some warmth. My computer is in a cabinet so it was able to stay dark. I checked them last night at 29 hours and only one had sprouted... I noticed a few were cracked but I didn't see and root.

So my question is what am I doing wrong? Whats the longest it took your seeds to germinate??? I'm freaking out since this is my first time. Not to mention, I payed good money for these seeds and I really want them to work.

Trust me and just plant them. Even if they did not grow a root, Plant them.

ok. Should I put it in mixed soil? I was going to go 25% perlite and 75% FF ocean forest. And how wet should the soil be?? ONe more question... Do I turn my fluoros on once I put them in soil?

If you got your seeds from Cannabisseeds.com that would be normal.ie: seeds no good.

No mate your doing everything right just make sure you keep them moist.You may have been lucky in past and its all happened at same time but mine can take up to a good few days but carry on with the warm dark place and it will happen just at all differant times.Some of them may not crack at all some seeds are just not meant to be i've left them for up to a week and they have cracked.I like to know whats happening thats why i don't plant straight away not till root pistols are showing.But it will happen belive me i'm a doctor be patient i do it the way your doing it apart from the bag bit just papper towel wet seeds on top then another layer of papperatowel i lay wet towel on a tea saucer and put another on top to keep light out.I use water with a little vita link in/But the best seeds i have come accross are greenhouse they soak ther seeds in some kind of shit that helps em germanate and i got 20 seeds all 20 was veged and flowered and smoked 10out of 10 for greenhouse these guys know there shit.I also got 10 free seeds off them for makeing a good order and 9 out of 10 were female lucky or what attitude always have good viable seeds has well they also give free seeds with every order.

I went thru over $1000 in seized and bad seeds from several different distributors in a row. I was buying older strains that were popular 10 years ago, once I picked up some recently popular strains my germ rate went right to 100%. I germ them the same way u do.
My point is that those seeds that cracked and nothing came out are junk, don't waste ur time with them u will only be dissappointed several times over. U can contact the company and ask nicely for replacements, if they say no and if u paid with a CC u can threaten them with a chargeback, thats really all u can do. I had to threaten a chargeback three times and I got paid back twice w/o question, the other time they fought it and I won and they paid me back, but it took a month to credit my card back.

Well it is now day 2 after they have been planted and 9 have sprouted out of soil. I GENTLY moved a tiny bit of soil on the others to see how their doing and it looks like I have 3 more bout to pop. After those three, there are four more, so we will see. I bought 10 Cannabiogen's Sandstorm (8 sprouted and 1 about to sprout) and got the 5 free power skunk (1 sprouted and 1 more comin). I'll be posting a grow journal in the proper thread since no one has done a journal for Cannabiogen's Sandstorm. Thank you everyone for your input and help. If I knew how to throw you all some rep, I would!!

Patience my friend. Sometime they pop fast sometime a bit slower. Are you prepared for 16 seedlings though?
