Pot size Question.

Hey All. Real quick, i wanted to build a smaller "Veg Room". to figure out the floor size i will need i want to know what size pots are the plants usually in when its time to transfer them to the flowering room? can they stay in the red party cup sizes until flowering and transplant time? or will they generally need a bigger pot before then? thx for any info.

1 gallon for every 12" of growth. As far as the cups go, I veg my plants for a long time to allow the size of the plant to reach its maximum. I trans plant into larger pots after the plant is about 2 weeks old. Some people grow a bunch of small and keep them short. It depends on how long you keep them in vegatative growth. Larger the pot the less likely they will become root bound.
