i might not even be finished with the lighting im thinkin of adding another 4-6 cfl lights in replacment of the tubes, would it be worth it?

Nice lil setup there, space could be an issue BUT.... whats that u've go the plants sittin on? Looks to me like u've chosen to raise or lower the plants as needed as opposed to moving the lights, which can be a pain. Anyhoo, If u just swithched to flowering, and whatever it is u've got the plants on is removeable, u could definately pull this stealth thing off! I kept lookin at the pics thinkin, damn, this guy would be set with some SIDE LIGHTING, then i notice the fluro's along the sides, nice, natuarally though, when it comes to growing with fluro's, it's never a bad idea to add more lights.

the tubs on the side will be fine just make sure you have a light with the right color temp...like for flowering you would try to get a color temp of about 2700K!

.... ever thought of gettin two more of those tube setups? Then u'd have 4 tubes on both sides for sidelighting, and they give u more room than cfl's would imo.

where do i get color temp?
what ever brand of lights you want to use go to their website and most of them will have a color temp listing it will be like 3100K or 6500K or 4100K...for veg you want to use a light as close to 6500K and for flowering you want to use a light as close to 2700K as you can get...i think it is "GE" that makes a "plant light" and it is around 3100K which is good for the flowering stages! i hope this helps!

yeah actually that was my first idea but i just want as much light as possible without hurting my babys, if a couple more tubes will work then hell yahhh :D

Heatwise, the cfl's will probly be hotter.... but then on the other hand, if u got those clamp on light deals from home depot, there could be an advantage in the actual placement of the cfl's vs. the tubes, IF U HAD SOMEWHERE TO CLAMP THEM, LOL...

lol yeah u think it'd be possible to do the same thing as i did with the top with the "Y" splitters to cover 2 plants at the same time, could put 1 set in the middle of either side and maby singles at each end?
or even adding those extra tubes right under the sets i have now

;) hey here's a way you can get more light in your little cabinet there if your staying with CFL's, and it's way cheaper, and easier then what your doing.

https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/64628-easy-cheap-dyi-cfl-setup.html

I came across this a few months ago and whne I seen your thread I had to search it up for ya ;)
nice man thx, but ive already done something very similar all my lighting is diy got 3 light sockets, 3 "y" splitters, 3 plugs,a 10M roll of wire nd some electrical tape, looks pretty pro eh lol

im probably gunna add 4-6 more cfls and move my tubes lower
