Selection: Peak specializes in 7 strains: Blueberry, Northern Lights, Skunk, Skunkberry, Northern Berry, Northern Skunk & Texada Timewarp

Price: The best buy anywhere. all seeds:10 (or 20 mixed) for 30 CAD for Canucks and guests, and $40 USD for everyone else. Includes shipping.

Service: Didn't need any, placed order and had delivery in 2 weeks. No problems.

Stealth Rating: No worries.

Would you order from the same bank again: Yes

Other Comment: Couldn't recommend them higher. Think of them as Canada's own Serious Seeds - just a few strains but do them very very well. 4 1/2 stars on Greenman's page.

Very compact, thick, plants. Short, high yielding, strains.

Anybody have a smoke report on any of their strains? Hobbes has just about talked me into ordering from them in another thread, but I'd like a little more info first. I've seen lots of great reviews on their excellent service and germ rates, but a few complaints about potency and yield. I'll likely be ordering their mixed package, so info on any strain is appreciated.

I ordered from them Sept 18th and they confirmed by email they had received my money and filled my order on October 5th. My order never arrived. About the time it should have arrived I emailed them back to make sure they shipped it. I was informed it didn't go out when they said because someone was sick. Thing is, I was moving and they knew it. So by October 31st I had not received my order and they asked me to wait to see "these things can take some time" they said. Well, it still never arrived so I emailed them seven days ago and they have not responded. I know they have a lot of good reports out there but I would not order again and the idea that it should take Peak longer than other companies to turn an order around is BS. I mailed an order to England same day, same mailbox as the one that went to Peak and I had that one back in 12 business days, regular mail both ways. I do have a feeling this kind of thing happens with them more than we hear about. It's like their site is set up to warn you you will have to wait on their stuff to arrive, and when it doesn't they tell you to be patient and wait and you get strung along, then after a couple months of waiting they just go away but by that time you aren't pissed and they just quit answering your questions, apparently.

Hopefully I'll hear from them and they'll work with me but I think I was very patient.

virgin,
Did you use peakseedsbc.com or peakseeds.com? As I understand it, peakseeds.com is a scam.
I used peakseedbc, the one with Northernberry, Blueberry, and Skunkberry.

I realize peakseeds is a scam and made a few posts about the inconsistencies in that site's set up- no grow/smoke reports on their strains and a disclaimer ripped off from a Netherlands based company. I even sent peakseeds.com a test email knowing they were a scam asking which strain to order. They suggested I try them all.

So as for peakseedsbc, just no reply. I admit it seems out of character for them but not replying now makes me feel like I'm just supposed to fade away.

Can't call them by the way, they only have email.

A good read:

Peak FAQ

WE ARE NOT PEAKSEEDS.COM
- we let the site go as we had nothing but problems with the host, but it seems someone is attempting to capitalize on this. They're testimonials are completely bogus and they're even using some our design attempting to trick you, so buyers beware!!

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

We're now using hushmail so if you need to email us please state a one word keyword in your email for the encryption aspects. ie: your dog's name, state, zip code, etc etc. All security questions are in lower case

We get far too much email that's easily answered online or from our FAQ. Its consuming so much of our time we may be forced to raise our prices, something we do not want to do. With that said, if you send an email and we don't respond don't take it personally, read this FAQ carefully as most of your questions are answered here, we're not here for growing advice/tips/tricks and general chit chat. We take seed orders and fullfill them with excellent genetics, that's it

Thanks in advance, MJ

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

- we ship worldwide and to P.O. boxes

- we only accept cash or international money orders. no exceptions. ensure your international money order is an intertional money order not a regular money order. we do not accept western union or anything other payment than cash or international money orders

- seeds are sent in an unmarked, business envelope and are protected from crushing

- depending on where you live, orders typically take 2-4 weeks from when we send them

- if you are looking for orders status, we require the name you used, full address and order placed

- we specialize only in a handfull of strains bred here in British Columbia and are constantly developing and testing, striving for consistency, vigor and potency

- if you're using an international money order, please leave it blank. if you must enter any information about yourself do so, just leave the "pay to the order of" or the "pay to" information blank. DON'T USE DSP VENTURES!

- we offer no ratios with the mixed seeds. they're already mixed, and are our premium strains. mixed currently have all strains, but TT and BB

- above all use common sense when ordering. protect everyone’s anonymity. if you don't want to use your real name use something that ensures you still receive the order

- many ask if they should use a return address on the envelope. we think you should, make it look just like regular mail. Or don't, its up to you

- if you send cash we're more inclined to give freebees

- please visit seedbankupdate.com and treatingyouself.com for information and feedback

- we only take orders through the postal service. we do not have a retail store

- have patience receiving your order. there's no need to micromanage us about it. If its been longer than 4 weeks email us stating the name you used, full address and order placed

- we don't offer ETA's on seeds. If a seed is listed as "currently unavailable" its unavailable, but expect it to return sometime soon since its still listed. the best way to see if a strain is available is check the website regularily

- if you're accessing the site, we're taking orders

- we delete or destroy all correspondence

- www.seedbankupdate.com is made by you, the consumer, rating online seed sites. our 4.5 star rating can only be achieved by sending good seeds. try us and see why we're above the rest

- ordering questions not answered here? Email us @ [email protected]

Just a big fan. I ordered Skunkberry and a mix pack, I've got the SKB, Northern Lights, Northern Berry, and two strains I can't identify yet (Northern Skunk and another Skunkberry I think). Great plants, easy to grow, compact and good yielding, covered in trichs. Nice stone even when just picked.

I don't know why I like the guys so much ... the plants grow just like I like them - compact and thick, the descriptions on the site aren't great but they don't bullshit. I like the idea of a breeder focusing on a handful of strains, developing and testing only a few strains. And 4 1/2 stars on Greenman's page, the highest rating anyone has. Prices are excellent, and one price for all strains and the mix pack.

Both in getting me the seeds and delivering great genetics they treated me right.

They do look like they are quality breeder. Their northernberry sounds especially good. I decided to go with a different breeder this time, but I'll likely give them a try with my next order. Thanks for all the help hobbes.

I would be thrilled with them if they had answered any of the three emails I sent since Christmas, at least I would know they aren't BSing me. They kept asking me to wait and give it more time. Either all of a sudden they aren't getting my emails or they just aren't answering. At least for the record I have a copy of the email they send saying they received the money and filled the order. Shoot, REZ's Double Strawberry Diesel is only $40, plenty of killer genetics out there for that kind of money. Mandala strains are only $20 and some of them are excellent.

"- if you send cash we're more inclined to give freebees"

That part scares me ..
like it totally sounds like a scam RIGHT there.

and I know people will argue .. but the ONLY take cash or money orders ...
so what other option do you have ??
like why would they throw that in ?

Agree ? disagree ?

Indifferent. But for $40 shipped, worth a shot.

Last year - 2 orders placed, 2 received. One took almost a month, the other about 2 1/2 weeks. Both orders had extra seeds...Cash does get you freebies. Admittedly it does feel weird to send cash. If you're skeptical I suggest just placing a small order or using an int'l. money order.

"They don't label the mixed pack do they?"

No, it's 20 seeds from a bin of mixed seeds. I germed 6 seeds, got 5 females from 4 different strains. **results may vary**

Disagree.

I've had plenty of merchants in real-life cut me a deal on a purchase because I was going to pay in cash-money...and I'm talkin' about electronics (not from some guy's trunk of his car).

If a vendor is able to take a credit card, that means they have to give the credit card company a cut of the purchase...Cash = No one else gets a piece. Fine with me.

So for them to try to encourage cash use doesn't really bother me.

But with a MO you (the buyer) pays the 'service fee' upfront.

Disagree.
