OregonMeds... dude if ur on a mmj card then grow just what ur allowed to grow ... with a shite load of 1000watt bulbs in the ultimate scrog!

Ur limited in plant numbers... not watts, if i were you, that's what i'd be focused on.

Yeah this is what I would do if I went the legal route. Just grow some fucking Monsters. Its all about the veg time, with a little work you could bend out a single plant planted in a giant pot and get some insane yields with multiple light sources.

Just look at Health Robinsons Critical mass tree. That 1lb bud speaks for itself. The problem is just getting it dried and cured and moved somewhere so your not over your allowed limit.

I was all ready to give it a go but I'm moving in march, I would have had 3 months to do it when this thread started but thought it might be a little tight. Keep an eye out around march though.. wink wink.

Why would you do this? You put yourself in a very bad situation with that many small plants instead you can get the same from 12 plants easy and not get charged for 100's of plants. This would just make you retarded.

how does it take longer. Your clones are rooted and ready to go right into flower and flowering times are the same so exact same time easier to manage and lot less legal trouble and better buds from more root space???

um, if you're trying to get two pounds from 12 plants under a 400w youre going to have to veg them for days. this way theres no veg time just flower. thats why its faster

As far as the law goes anything over 99 plants is fedral.....but wait, we dont give a f%^k about the laws!!! I think someone should try it. Im growing 30 small plants under just 8 cfls in 4 square feet right now and the buds are staying comnpact and it looks like ill get between a qtr and a half from each... Now i understand 30 is way short of 144 but with proper pruning i think it can be done but in order to et the max yeild from each plant i think a 600w would be in order.. .. Id even try it with a 400w but it is just a hobby right now so the outcome would matter little to me. I think its worth a shot and if nobody tries it before i get my hid then ill go for it:clap:

well im loading clones under my 600w. i give them 2 weeks to root, 2 weeks to veg just to get some fresh green tops on em then throw them in flower. i was planning to do them in dixie cups with 15 per aluminum tray, and fit four or five trays under my light, to do like 60 clones. was hopin for an average of 10 grams off each to get 1gpw. but now im thinking of transplanting the clones after like two or four weeks flowering into larger cups for more stable plants and larger buds. id flower for probably 10 weeks

i have no idea about hydro so doin it the originally stated way wouldnt work for me.

any advice/crits on this setup is welcome

That 99 plants rule depends on where you live sir. I'm still considering this. I've just moved house into a larger abode all I need now is some money and seeds for the set up.

Well i think thats the rule where i live, shows how much i pay attention to the law! I drew up some designs last night and 144 plants seems a bit much but still might be worth a try
