Aerogarden system

hmm... i like the look of this better than the aero gardens systems i see that have the water feed lines inside of the 'medium tubes'. is that 6" pvc? with 3" pots? so those like all end with a sprayer just inside the top of the pvc, yes? how high is your nutrient solution pooled in the pvc/how tall is your standing outlet line at the end of the tube? do you use a manifold before the feed line to equalize pressure across the board? what size rez? 36 plants right?

i'd love to go aero... but first i gotta give this hempy bucket thing a try... since i've already got'em all... and all the perlite as well.

you may be 'new' ... but your deffinitely not a noobie :D

6'' thick wall pvc, 3'' net pots, pea gravel for net pot medium/plant support, 25g res with a 3000gph pump, manifold is split, pump supplies a t, and pressure is very near constant throughout the manifold. this isn't the IDEAL manifold, but it works for a rectangle well. it's actually a perp system, 12x4. 25g runs it all, 120 total.

the misters are suspended about two inches inside the tubes, so that the spray is sprayed instead of hitting the walls of the pipe and running down as a nft. the water level in the bottom is only about a half inch deep, not full by any means. the drain hole is at the bottom of the tube, so the line sits on the bottom of the pvc to drain water. there are no screens to worry about, i pull out the drain hoses every other week and free them of roots. after harvest, clean up is easy; just open one end, grab a handfull of roots, and pull; it comes out in one peice :)

You really were able to grow these in an AERO GARDEN? Is there some kind of "cycle" that I have read in all these threads? Or should I just germinate the seeds and plant them along with the parsely and oregano? Those are great pics. My mouth is watering. How long does it usually take for something like these? How much does it produce? Thanks.

Thanks. I am new and while I am not inexperienced I have been "out of the game" for a while.

i use my aerogarden for herbs. the buds i posted came from the pvc rails. like korvette showed, it can be used for buds, but there are much better and more productive means of going hydroponic. ;)

lol, i've done a purple haze. very fun indeed. sensi's seem to have much more indica in the mix than mine had though. let me warn though, and say that fem seeds can and do produce males (not as many as m/f bred), so keep an eye out.

those lil buggers have some thick stems! what nutes do you use?

Ive heard that too about the femmed seeds ..

I use MG houseplant food 1/4 teaspoon to a 1/2 gallon of water every 3rd filling of the res ..
For flowering I'll be using FF big bloom and tiger bloom

have you used the ff before? if not, i'd like to know what made you decide on it? i've always felt ff offers the wrong ratio for pot, and have always avoided it (friends have used it, i didn't like their product or results). i use gh3, superthrive, cal/mag+, and an hammerhead. the cal/mag and hh really kick up the yield with my strains; however, they're all heavy feeders; many strains can't handle the high tds that this formula creates (around 1850-2100ppm, depending on how much c/m and hh you use).
