Aerogarden club

Someone told me that I should remove the male plants as soon as I can tell their sex because if I don't the female will not produce. Has anyone heard of this?

Pull the males. As soon as they pollinate the females, the females stop producing THC and produce seed...You want the ladies to be sticky and yelling to be fucked. Otherwise you just get seeds. You dont want seeds.
 
Man Im having a dilemma between the ag and just getting like a 150 watter in soil... Its for a small personal grow
 
Jus depends, I got mine for free so thats why i am using it, i love it tho, if you do buy the AG jus buy the base off of e bay or somthing for like 50 buccs

I say go with the 150w and a DWC tub.... best of both worlds...

Rubbermaid tote + airstone and pump + Ph'd and nuted water + HPS light = nice personal grow...

I would say at least 250 watts though.... cooltube it if you need to...

soak in warm water for 24 hours, if they float after 48 hours they will mostlikey not grow.
place in pod and wait a few days, 2 to5 depending on the strain.

:leaf:Sure do appreciate the help man. Ive been reading and watching so many different grow techniques I really dont know what I want, At first I was wanting something huge now I just want something like 4 ounces per grow or so...?
 
This is my first ever forum visit and posting and I need some help from any one willing to give some good ass advice. I'm starting a grow of ak-47 lowryder seeds in my aerogarden, does anyone have any good tips on the whole process? Im using a 400 watt hps/mh switchable lamp and an aerogarden classic.

Yeah, do some reading of the AG threads here. There is a whole sub forum devoted to AG grows.
 
I also have some fox farm nutrients. Do I use the nutrients from the time I put my seeds into the aerogarden or wait a little while. I dont want to kill them or something.
 
this is first week of flowering using only aero nutes. not sure the genetics because i got seeds from nirvana.indoor mix. looks like sativa to me. one on left grown in dirt indica dominate i am using a 400watt hps to flower and in the veg box i got 1-200w cfl 5k, 1-125w cfl 2700k, and the two cfls that came with the aerogarden. wish me luck. the indica one stinks real good and has from day one.
