She said a look into our marijuana industry ripe with guns gangs and plenty of money.

Not promising as being pro-pot, and certainly not by the network it's being run on either.

Can I give an interesting spin? Make the prohibition of marijuana look horrible. Show the gangs, and the violence associated with prohibition. Show how legalization would help eliminate most of the violent crimes associated with the drug trade, and how much revenue could be generated through the many industries kept afloat by home growers. Or...the tax revenue associated with entering marijuana into the retail market. But they most likely wont spin it like that.

I think they are going to show how much money people make from marijuana, and then spin it around to, we need those tax dollars, we need to stop clogging the court system with people who's only "crime" is being caught with pot.

Jane Velez Mitchell from CNN is on board with us, she says "marijuana laws make criminals out of law abiding citizens". We've got her, it's a start.

CNBC does very good documentaries IMO.

This is only going to look at the industry in California. The bulk of the focus will be the issues dispensaries face. Procurement, legal issues, its clientele, taxes.........and all the intellectual and physical capital involved. They will show both sides of the debate. But, mainly, it will just document what goes on in Cali....with an emphasis on coin. It is a business network. So, look at it that light.

I'll try to remember and record it and then I can throw it up on youtube.

Someone remind me.

My memory isn't all that, uh, good.

From the Norml website it looks like there are 14 states with med laws in place. 11 more states and we'll have half. Mass did us all a favor and voted for decrimilization (thanks Mass). so there's a step in the right direction too.

Yes Oregon, please remember to record it, I'm not sure if I get that channel. I really want to see it.

Even if they did, most American's probably wouldn't grasp what they were trying to do in the first place.

On a side note, I was watching CNBC with my dad and little sister while I was home over christmas break. There was a commercial for Marijuana Inc. Both of them huffed under their breath and said "that is going to be a stupid thing to watch."

i thought all the dispensaries were closed down because of the fed fuck heads
the feds bust one once in a while, but not all of them lol. There are hundreds of them. A club I go to was raided the other day, the feds took all their weed and money and tv's and everything....and they were open again the same day. Theres no stopping the movement now.

Seems like a while ago I heard they were going to start going after the landlords---to seize their property---so they wouldn't have anywhere to do business?

Fucking feds, You know if they want to bust someone, there are about 2000 illegals living less than 10 miles from me. They look the other way on that, but drag people to jail for a pipe or hitter. what-the-fuck-ever !!!

I'm sick of our bullshit oppressing government. They're supposed to be looking out for us, but instead only look out for their own bank account.
