I traded out my 401k stocks for money moraket funds a few months back at 0800 on the Monday morning before the market nosedived that day thus beginning the current financial crisis,
Would have lost about 30k if I had waited 1 day.

I begged my wife to move her equities into money market 6 months ago, she refused (She's pretty stubborn) and lost 40K+++. She's still a little pissed at me when I remind her. I try not to, but if she snivels, I have to. I had moved mine a few months earlier.

Yeah, she lost 40+K and now it's my fault, go figure. She didn't even have to lose any, you are allowed to move it directly into money market without penalty. She was greedy and didn't want to lose any gains. I told her the market was heading for a shitstorm, she thought I was crazy. Hell, even Ray Charles could see that.
