what lights should i use during the veg stage?

what type are you using now? florecents are a cheaper way to supply lighting if you are low on funds, untill you can get a mh. keep in mind these are if you want to do indoor culitivation rather than outdoor sunlight.

You can use three main types of lighting, the first being a metal halide which is more expensive, you can order one online or get it at a hydro shop. You can also go to wal-mart and pick up some 6500 Kelvin 23 watt cfl bulbs, or you could try flouro tubes. On smaller grows, we like to use 4 T5's, 3 veg bulbs and one flower bulb, just to mix the spectrum a bit.

i was looking for lights at walmart and i found a 12 light fixture.. i bought 2 and i bought a warm white light and i wasnt sure what light bulb the fixture came with.. i think cool white

12 inch* and i have both plants in a cabinet and have a light for each plant

If youre planning on vegging for any length of time one light for each may not be sufficient. You should go to home-depot and pick up a few y splits for you lamps. This will allow each lamp to hold two bulbs.
