white fuzz on my stem sprouts. what is it?

View attachment 293841 Someone else told me it's common it keeps the seedlings warm:wall:

Iv had fuzz like this grow on a clone before, Just one of the batch, and when fresh air hit it it just kinda collapsed. Im not sure WTF it was but I would definitely like to know.

Also I havent had any problems with mold or anything, just that one clone had fuzz like that, didnt look like normal mold/mildew.

:peace:

if under a humidity dome or very humid in the location or even damp area it most commonly is mildew...pics would def help but thats my guess.

ya dude i see this all the time in my rockwool cubes there beautiful.

sorry for the inacurate info... like I said I dont grow in hydro I know if you see it above the soil on the stem its mildew. and if you see it on the leaves its mildew as roots dont grow from leaves.

leave a seed in a paper towel to long you'll see this

^^Are you suggesting the mildew on the seed itself is roots or after the seed opens^^

The leafs are there, remove any humidity dome now and try to put ventilation that could circulate air/humidity in your grow area.

This is mold caused my moisture.

no i meant if you germ a seed in a paper towel and forget about it and comeback a week and a half later the seedling will have developed the fuzzy clump of roots as pictured in the wet paper towel

man quit freakin the guy out look at the pic.ITS NOT MOLD
Thanks man it's since gone away but unfortunately my kitten got a hold of one of my feminized Blue Cheese:cry:. I now have 2 Fem. Blue Cheese, and 2 Regular,Power Skunk. I've have already started another seedling. But the other 4 already growing are taking off:hump:. Oh yeah!
