I can't believe the national news/cable isn't talking about it at all, but you know all about Bernie Madoff.
it seems as if they don't want to promote it. i see a lot of "riot ads" flagged off of craigslist as well.

BART police have finished their investigation. info was passed on to the DA.
US justice department was sent to Oakland to try to help calm things.
BART board of directors is asked to all step down.
police put on riot gear to disperse the crowd. protesters kicked over some newspaper stands. things are winding down now, for the night.
Oakland businesses still have all the store front windows boarded up. large protest planned for Wed.

I'm traveling on business right now... opened my hotel door this morning.... got my USA today... opened it up... first section page 11 there is an article titled: "Post-racial era? Go tell victims of police shootings". It's a story about this incident... and other incidents of white cops shooting black men (in all examples listed the victims were unarmed) including one who was driving his pregnant wife (in labor) to the hospital.Hmm National media doe snot want to "support" this issue??!! The USA Today is a national newspaper. The rest of the national media won't be able to ignore this story for long if the protesting continues.
