i hope you put the clones in a veg state (18/6) before you put them under the flowering lights (12/12) because once they are under 12/12 they wont grow anymore and they will just flower.

it always differs when they are ready for harvest, but it will probably be somewhere around 6 weeks if the air ventilations is correct and they are getting the nutrients they need.

Well, I would say that he was talking about 6 weeks of flowering, as in, after you start to see flowers. Most hybrid strains will ripen in 8-12 weeks of 12/12 lighting.

So you should start to see flowers in a week or two, and they will be ripe 6 weeks after that.

i just want to make it clear i bought them as CUTTINGS NOT SEEDS SO IM NOT TOO SURE ABOUT THE VEG STATE.
i think i was told a load of bullS**t about them being fully ready to harvest in 6 weeks. when i got them they werent flowering but after 2 weeks they are starting to really take to the light and show some hairs

Don't feel too badly about it, even the seedbanks spout the minimum number of days to ripen as a marketing ploy. Besides, you are growing a plant, that may behave differently in your growing setup, so you will have to determine when she is ripe.

I can tell you for sure, that FLOWERING for 6 weeks is not enough. Especially if they ae INDICA, and by FLOWERING, I mean counting time from the start of 12/12.
From the first day of 12/12, you need to mark the calender and wait 8 weeks. Do not go by the date or period of time, it is just a clue or a sign as to when to be ready to harvest. Around the 8th week, the white hairs (stigmas) should be changing to red or reddish brown, if they ahve been getting proper lights and lumens. That's another sign or clue. The real determining factor is the color the the trichomes, that you observe thru a
$9.95 RADIO SHACK battery lighted microscope.
Go to GROWFAQ and read up on HARVESTING.

what? what do you think flowering is? do you know that most plants will get three times bigger in flower?

it always differs when they are ready for harvest, but it will probably be somewhere around 6 weeks if the air ventilations is correct and they are getting the nutrients they need.
i've never seen a strain finish in 6 weeks. i know people who cut at six weeks; that's where the schwag comes from.

kindp im glad to hear that as i have just started flowering a cutting (white russian) i got which isnt very big on advice from previous owner. was kinda worrying that i should have veged for another few weeks. had a really hard night the first night i got her as she was growing hydroponically and now in soil. dried up really bad and i lost a few good leaves. but she survived and a week later she growing well. this is a first time grow and i have limited space this time around, am not hoping for a massive yield as long as i get good smoke and the conditions right for MORE MORE MORE
