Keep Plant Short, and Yield Large

Ok well last harvest was ok for 1 plant and forced early harvest by about a week but there was 1 problem. It was too big for my likeing and stretched.

Now, I want to start a new grow in the AeroGarden (Pro200) and with added CFLs. I want to keep it short, yet have a solid middle stem of bud so the nodes pretty much are connected when budding. What should I do?

what strain were you using? for that small of a set up you need a pure indica or better yet one of the lowryder dwarf strains, for the aerogarden i would take one plant and make a few clones then put those in the thing and go strait to flowering

Well I don't have rooting gel for clones, and I do not want to order Lowryder from the interent. I'm just going to use dank bag seed this time around. So knowing Sativa or Indica will basically be a guessing game. Would constant pruning do the trick?

there are two things i can think of flower it early witch will give you 1 cola or keep topping it to get several

tie it down

Tie that fucker down as much as you need until you flower. It will only increase yield as it keeps the plant short
