hi i was wondering if anybody could tell me if its ok to take clones five weeks into flowering? Ive was also wondering if it would be ok to cut some leafs off during the flowering period because i want to get more light on buds that are growing...or maby i could harm the plant? and thats not something i wanna end up doing, not at this stage of flowering. But they look very strong! the plants i have 2 HUGES Brainstorm plants and one White widow the brainstorm plant are about 1,5meter and the widow about 1meter tall im growing in soil...

Taking clones now is not a good idea, but I suppose you could reveg them. I you want to get more light to your lower buds try supercropping.

you can trim the leaves. But not too much. Do it in a few stages over the next two weeks. You don't want to shock your plant. One good trick, is to only cut off half of the leaf. So if one fan leave is covering a lower bud, you could trim two blades off of the leaf and it will still function fine. Or you can cut the front half of one of hte fan leaves. This will still give your plant its fan, and allow more light through.

Can you tie your plant out a bit. Pull some of the lower branches away from the plant so they are not sheltered?

maby i wont take clones now dosent seem like a good idea at this stage...but i remember i saw some video on youtube and the guy there was taking clones late into flowering and then reveging them,so maby im not sure.... but i trimed the fan leafs of the plants and it looks pretty good ! now im getting enough light too my buds, THnx.

I cant tie them any more i already did that they are simply too big! im growing them in a closet witch is 120x100x200 meters, 3 plants.

re-vegging mutates the dna for the plant. It won't ever be the same as the original
i will have to disagree. i have taken clones from a plant 6 wks. in flower and they ended up being 7 ft tall indoors, but yes it does take longer to root. from my exp. i have takeing clones off a vegging plant is see goots in 10 to 14 day. clones off a flowering plant i see root between 3 and 4 weeks. the whole time thay are growing and verting back. I CAN BE DONE IF YOU HAVE THE TIME

Agreed, the only problem with taking clones during flowering is the extra time you need in order to reveg and the stress caused by this, otherwise it is perfectly possible.

I am not saying that it can't be done.

How did the clone turn out? Was it as good as the original?
