Wattage threshold?

In your opinions, about how many watts does one have to use before the man starts getting interested in one's power consumption?

I'm looking to start a 10-15 plant grow soon and have always wondered about the power consumption problem.

good question! im worried about power consumption with only a 400w hps! can it get traced? i have a small 2 bed houese!

1000w per bedroom is the standard most ppl will tell you on here. So a 4bdrm house would = 4000w before any red flags go up.

Hell ya that sounds good. I am in the good. I was worried about it so I have stopped using my ac when the light is on to save money lol.

I was growing before in a 12x12x8 room with 6 1000 watt hps lol ..... power went up yes, but I also have a 4 bedroom house with a large garage and workshop so nobody thought nothing of it... plus i have a woodshop and metal fab shop setup in my workshop...

Yeah I'm definitely gonna go for a SOG setup. Gonna try to find a strain that has good yields, and can be harvested the earliest. Any suggestions :mrgreen:?

get a couple 250w - 600w bulbs , put them both on trachs with their own row of plants and that will let you have more plants for 1 bulb

the best way to find the right strain for SOG for your grow is to try out a bunch of diffrent strains and you can chouse what strain is the best

Well, yeah, lol. What are some strains that I should try first? I don't need phenomenal bud, I just want to grow as much as I can as quick as I can.

there are 6 week strains out there , they would be oerfect for a sooner harvest:weed:

Yup, just what HH said. If the man gets a tip they are gonna look at your bill anyway. just pay your bill on time and keep a low profile...
