hi ive been looking for a light i hav found a 150w cfl it says -

The PowerPlant Enviro CFL is the new generation of high efficiency, environmentally friendly low energy use compact fluorescent lamps designed for home gardening. They are great for areas where heat is a problem and to add as side lighting or to provide additional light of the colour you need. The unique separated ballast design enables the affordable switching to warm white (2700k) version of the same lamp. This also means low cost lamp replacement in the future.
The lamp supplied is a 150w Cool white lamp.

would this be suffecient for about 2 plants?? is the cool white ok for first growth and vegetation? will i have to change to a diff bulb later on?

thanks forshiz

Hey, I've got a 200w envirolite (plug and grow), you've got the right bulb and that will be fine to grow through veg... yes you will need warm white for flowering. But i'm planning to go from 200w cool white through to 2x200w warm white for flowering for 3 plants. Just basically put it this way - you'll want a lot more light than just your 150w for flowering, try to at least double it I think or get a 200w if possible.

When i mean two lights i dont mean two reflectors, i'll have the other light where i feel it needs it most at the time (it'll basically hang down between or to the sides of my plants). I'm no expert though btw, just my plan as it may help you to build your own :)
