I was just wondering how much dolomitic limeI should be using per gallon of soilless mix. I have run into issues in the past with GH Flora series lowering the ph and I would like to add the lime so the ph can not become low as easy.

Dolomite lime application broken down:
soil ph now in 16 ounce cup----------------------------get to 6.5
soil ph
4.0-----------------------------1 tablespoon dolomite
4.5-----------------------------3/4 tablespoon dolomite
5.0-----------------------------1/2 tablespoon dolomite
5.5-----------------------------1/4 tablespoon dolomite
6.0-----------------------------1/8 tablespoon dolomite
soil ph now in 1 gallon container------------------------get to 6.5
soil ph
4.0-----------------------------4 tablespoons dolomite
4.5-----------------------------3 tablespoons dolomite
5.0-----------------------------2 tablespoons dolomite
5.5-----------------------------1 tablespoon dolomite
6.0---------------------------1/2 tablespoon dolomite
----If you don't have a close idea of what your PH is now----you will need to get a cheap test kit... Don't guess your having soil PH problems!!!---The kits are under 5 bucks and will give you a good idea of where your at now. It's a little more complicated but if you go to my growing school 101 thread you will find a soil PH guide and how to correct soil PH issues with testing run-off.----Good luck...
