Well lets hope so, but the results of this were very dissapointing.

At first they said these would be presented at a press conference to OBAMA himself. Not only did that not happen but that email I posted two posts above doesn't even mention marijuana at all.

On top of that, go to the site and then it's listed with other top ideas in "no particular order"... When you are in the process of ranking ideas based on votes all along, and then intentionally omit the order or whatever that took extra work and was done on purpose in my book.

Worse yet, the idea is then just handed off to non profits (who are already doing work towards this end) to do the same thing they've always done with no additional help from this point forward as I see it.

I think we just got the shaft...

Okay... there are some misinformed statements on this page...

1. THE POLL IS STILL OPEN
2. CHANGE.GOV is the polling place... NOT CHANGE.ORG

change.gov ends its polling tomoro and a marijuana issue is number one currently in many different catagories and overall I believe as well by at least 17,000 votes last time i checked.

for some dumb reason each vote is worth 10 points... so if you knock off the 0 at the end of each point totals then youll get your votes...

1. Ending Marijuana Prohibition - 83,770 points (8,377 votes)
2. Commit to becoming the "Greenest" country in the world - 65,880 (6,588 votes)
3. Stop using federal resources to undermind the states medicinal marijuana laws - 64,160 points (6,416 votes)

I think #3 will switch place with #2 and therefore our top 2 places will be the legalization of marijuana :D

obama can only ignore us for a short period... i seen something on the news about the outcome of the first round of questions... its #1 spot was also the legalization of marijuana and the new reporters were actually in favor of legalizing it (one dumb bitch was against it but it was obvious that she was dumber then a box of rocks)

I agree, the public is more informed about this issue than it has ever been, and the public is starting to get a little pissed off about it.

If you read the first half of this thread you will notice that "The Son of Man" was trying to disrupt this thread. He clearly stated "oh I'll comprise it" when i sugested that he not hijack this thread. Well i gave him negative points for disrupting our conversation and it apears that he was pissed and gave me negative points and a message stating "who's negative rep is stronger "

:wall:

Despite him and other george bush "anti pot campaign" people, we are still getting numerous of people stating that they will vote to legalize marijuana... somewhere around 20 votes so far strictly because of this thread

Message to "The son of man": Those negative points arent shit compared to everyones marijuana freedom that is at stake here

FUCK OFF FAGET

oh I'll compromise it :)

Which news did you see something about this on? I saw nothing of it on CNN they were too busy talking for 48 hours straight about the plane crash and repeating other stories to tell something new like this I guess.

Maybe someone posted it on youtube but I don't know what to search on.

What the hell now there are two websites?! This is too confusing where do I vote on the new one? Just go to NORML.org if you really want to help I say.

I can't even navigate on the .gov site I think is really just a false hope. I voted on one of them but I'm sure my monthly NORML donation does a lot more for this cause. If all the people who voted there donated just $20 to NORML it would give them a much bigger budget this year.

The .gov site sucks, you have to go through one page at a time. You can't just pick page 12 for instance and start there. Whoever designed that site did a good job of making people just give up on it.

The .org site isn't much better, I can't even find the questions or where you vote without having a direct link to click.

Whatever happened to those user friendly websites, like this one, easy, self explainatory.........
