I'm growing Alaskan Ice next too. No experience with this strain, about it sounds like a winner. High yielding widow x haze -- how could you go wrong? Going to be using aeroponic, t5's, hps, and led.

I love growing Alaskan Ice. It's a very robust and resistant strain. It won't stretch too much, stay under 1,5m, finish in 9-10 weeks of flowering and yeald some 250-500g wet. It's a White Widow x Haze cross. Personally, I find it has the best cerebral high/body stone ratio. It's supposed to have over 21% THC. I personally find it to be great to smoke with friends or at parties. It doesn't feel like the kind of stuff you want to smoke home alone, but hey, just my opinion.

It's a wonderful wonderful plant and it's in my top 5.

Whatz the average yield of weight afta drying?
I always avoid answering that, because my buds never loose the same amount of weight after drying. The weight lost is 55-85%, which is a pretty big variable, considering that the wet yeald is already not exact, 250-500g. But if you insist, it would be 45-230g which, as you can see, is a really really shaky answer.

Not sure if I understood the question, but here goes:

During the drying process my buds loose 55-85% of their weight. I presume that this relativity in weight loss is due to the fact that they have different amounts of water, so a different amount of weight is lost. After the drying process no more weight is lost. Hope this clears everything.

My highest dry yeald with Alaskan Ice was 213g. It was the first time I used some little tricks (molasses, UV light, banana peels, co2 generator, supercropping) for improving yeald. I also let it veg for a bit over 5 weeks.

i ordered alaskan ice for my outdoor this year. Last year i grew some mixed bag of seeds my buddy gave me and managed to get 72# off of 16 pots. I was wondering if anybody has given this strain a good go on outdoor? all the posts i have reviewed have been indoor grows. From what i can gather it stetches badly and has a tendency to go hemaphradite when in bud. Some sativas will go well into nov here in california and weather is a factor so any help on experiences outdoor with this strain would be a help. I have a room of purp going now its going to be a hitter will post pics when done. Cheers and thankx
