isnt it alittle far in flower to be spraying neem oil or other insectisides...i know that the neem oil concentrate that i used mixed with just water burned the hairs on my plants and singed them up...plus ur buds look like they are of decent size to where spraying them may cause some to be stuck in the buds...

If your neem is burning your buds then its too strong.

it didnt burn the buds just caused the hairs to shrivel up but its still very possible it was mixd too strong and for the bugs just kill them as u can by hand IMO

....The problem with killing bugs by hand is that you never know if you killed them all, or even half.

I laid out some No-Pest strips today, and I did a spray with Neem. Im not planning on doing any more Neem sprays unless I start seeing a lot of critters on the no-pest strips. I also got some good Bug spray and cleaned out the grow room and veg closet so hopefully that will help too.

The bugs really arent that bad. I think I caught them way before they would become a problem. But I would rather just fry any fuckers that are there now before it becomes an issue.

I dont mind spraying, it just depends how often I have to spray. If I know I will be doing some foliar spraying I will crank the Dehu all day and keep the fans running.

Some good did come out of the whole situation though. I have selected a single plant that all my future grows for this strain will come from. At the start of this crop I had about 80 clones form all the original seed plants of the strain. I took 32 of the biggest and strongest for the tent, and 6 for new mothers. I have been growing the mothers under my 250w HPS since the start of this crop. I was down to 3 plants that were 2ft+ each for the last few weeks.

One of the three just stood out. She was Gorgeous. She was lush, green, no dead or yellowing leaves. She was filling out twice as fast as the other 2 and her node spacing was WAY tighter even under the HPS. Her stalk was twice as fat. Shes wasnt being affected by bugs. She was just Perfect.

I guess the key word is 'was' cause she got chopped up into 11 perfect clones, which will be the new mothers for everything from now on.


The other 2 were grown in the same conditions for the same amount of time and they were weak, lots of dead lower leaves, stringy stalks, and big node spacing. So they got killed. I didnt even want clones from the weaklings They just got killed and thrown away.




Im pretty happy about finally having my "perfect" plant. Sweet Renee. Now I just wanna get this crop done so I can get the next one in there its gonna be nice doing a whole crop that came from a single plant.


Also I dont remember who first had the eyeclops, Flojo I think? But I got one today. Unfortuantely when I got home I realized I got the stupid videocam eyeclops. You can look at 100x-400x on your TV....which is useless for me. I wanted to get the digital camera one that takes pics, that one is way better....Guess I gotta go back tomorrow. They have them at Walmart and Canadian tire BTW. And they are the coolest fucking toy ever. You can take 100x pics of the trichromes, its like a digital microscope that can take pics, its a kids toy but I think every grower needs one!!
