Any Home Improvment store will give u a great fix to ur high humidity problem. Not too cheap though. One that will keep a 10x10 room stable with an adjustable pull will run u about 200$ . Do some research online. Type key words inexpensive dehumidifiers in the google box. Got some good deals out there. hope it helps.

look for the energy star.. some have a 2 hour and 4 hour on off button.. these are great.. set it at 35% and the 2 hour on and get the one rated for your space.

Trying to help one of my students out---I use vents to remove humidity---his/her room is 10'x10'x11'.

thats about the same size as my room.. i got the largest one at homedepot.. its a black g.e. with the power saver and i think its a 65??? im not sure.. but its the largest and i would not want anything less... its great for powder mildew in the winters and the 3 gallon water collector is good cause it fills up every 4 days and the water is 000ppm which is good when you get lockout and you need to adjust salts in the res....

Last time I looked at dehumidifiers at lowe's or home depot, they had one that you could just hook a hose to and it would continually drain itself.

Doc I got one at sears for 180. 50pints/24hr digital humidistat, auto restart after power failure so great to hook to a controller as well, can hook to a drain and comes with connector. 5.39 amps. Though if I did it again I'd opt for the $300 one which claims quiet operation. Mine works very quickly. Sealed 200 cubic feet .

Do yourself a favor, Look on Craigslist if your in the states. I found one for $20 works perfect, and is a newer style. You can find them on there all day long, for dirt cheap

Delonghi makes a nice one with an automatic pump that allows you to pump the water continously to another location. Nice if you don't have a drain nearby for the typical gravity drain.
