24/0 to 18/6 for 2 wks then 12/12

ha all whats your thoughts on that. i have always ran 24/0 right up to flower cycle and never had any problems nice hard fat dence buds, but im thinking of cutting time back 18/6 for 2 wks then lights out for 24hrs then to 12/12. ? is with her getting a little sleep is she going to grow taller, or bush out more or what. thanks

ive noticed they stretch a lil bit in the dark...24 hrs of darkness is good to start flower..I do the same thing...then 24hr darkness right before chop

your saying they will strech when i go from 24/0 to 18/6 for two weeks. im getting ready to put into flower stage not chop. what does the dark do for the plant b4 you chop her down

i feel the same way. this is my 5th grow and thought maybe try somthing that i never tried. i no my girls dot stress going from 24/0 right to 12/12 so i realy dont no why i want to change somthing that works for me.

ya thats what im thinking. for some reason my friend grows under 18/6 and it seems like his plants grow like wild fire but he also grows with cfls. and im mh and hps so i really cant compare the to grow. i just thought it may be related to the 18/6 light cycle.

mine do to but to late changed time schedual last night well see what happens. i no their not going to die i just hope they will get taller. not that its not already but i do like monster plants

i like to keep mine stubby indoors...as soon as you flower they will start to strech something fierce tho..depending on strain.

oh yhell yes they do. i put mine in the flower room at 2 1/2 to 3ft tall and when finished they are 6ft to 7ft monsters. i have the space so why not use it all. ya

a 400wtt mh for veg and clonin and a 1000wtt hps with a 4ft diameter reflector. i veg for no more than 60 days to the hight i want witch ever comes first.
