Pizza's First Grow (Pics inside)

I've finally begun my first grow, and it surely is an exciting day :-P.

I have 4 23w 2800k CFL's in my growspace which currently is a small wooden cabinet. I planted 3 lowryder 2's in clear plastic cups after they had been germinated. I'm offically turning the lights on starting at 6 AM tommorow morning and hopefully all will go according to plan. and comments or constructive criticism welcome, let me know if you need some information!

One more thing, Are soils and fertilizers that say they are ideal for vegetables (i.e. tomatoes) and flowers good for growing weed?

bigger pics would help. but during the first 2 weeks is critical to not give any nutes. DO NOT USE ANY NUTES!! for the first 2 weeks.

Congrats on your first grow. Most soils will do the job, as long as they have the right amount of nutes in them. For now you want more N, than P, and K. If you don't know what I'm talking about read read read : )

The reason why worm said no nutes is because your soil should have nutes. When you do finally add nutes, make sure to add 'em slowly start at 1/4 strength.

If you don't even know what kind of soil, or what's in it, then yes, it can be a leap. You really shouldn't have toooo much anything. If you do have to "little" of something the plant will start to yellow a little, or the baby will just get lighter, that's when I add fert.

the first 2 weeks are very critical. your soil should have all the nutes it needs for this period. if you have too much nutes your plants will let you know. curling of leaves or burn spots. it doesn't even itself out. if you add too much nutes then you have to start over. by this i mean " you have to feed plain water no nutes".

Worm got the nute burn down. You'll see signs like curling and most likely brown tips at first.
