growing season for south carolina just NE of colombia!!

hey im moving there at the end of this year! and i am very excited to start my own garden! i know when to start growin my weed but i need help on when i should start growin vegetables, herbs, flowers, and annuals.
if anyone could please tell me the months i should starts growin all those^^^ and possiblely the latest i can grow all those?

there isnt anythin i can find that says the exact month to plant different things lol thats all i want hahah

I live in N.C. about 2 hours north of you an April is to early here to plant a garden. We usually plant the last of May as we get frost up until the middle of May hope this helps.

late march or april the best time .. if your near blythewood or something youll know because you'll see the farms n whatnot.. im in ne columbia..

i live in south carolina and plan to plant early april or hopefully mid march like i did last year. but to my question i am leavin for school and need my plant to be completely done and harvested by september 5th. is their anyway my plants will start to flower by july? if i move them in a heavy shady area will it help to start flowering? thanks

I lived in South Carolina for a few years and always noticed a lot of the gardeners in the area working in their gardens around the beginning of April. This was in the Upstate, though, in the Clemson/Anderson area, but since it's SC I figured I'd add in my 2 cents and try to help you get a better idea of when to shoot for...

i know its a lil late but i live 45 mins from raleigh nc and i started potatoes,garlic,onions,and turnip salad about 3 weeks ago you should see them now with all the rain we have had the past week or two.

oh and i forgot butterbeans and snaps also. But tomatoes, corn,broc.,colliflower however u spell it.okra,squash,cucumbers,watermellon,canalope,habanro peppers,green pepers will be in a few more weeks...like the first week in april when i normally do them
