407g Harvest

Here is my first grow. Since I was learning the entire ride, none of the variables were the same. I started with MG soil. I used organic nutrients until she started to flower. I then switched to Recipe for Success. The nutrient package was only $30 and was well worth it. I used CFL lighting all the way. I started with about 4 42watt lights and ended up with 8 42-65watt cfls. I topped the plant while it was vegging and got two HUGE colas. (80 grams each!). I flushed for 2 weeks using molasses. I let her sit in 24 hour of darkness before chopping her. The stalks are hanging now in a controlled room with low humidity and a fan to promote airflow. I am planning to cure the buds for about 4 weeks before smoking. Entire grow was about 4 month. It was worth the wait and I have been patient the whole way. Without this community I would have never been able to grow weed this good. Thank everyone who posted any valuable info on RIU!

2x80=160, not 407, you had 233g aside from the 2 main colas? Nice grow, though!

I tried to calculate that using the 75% rule. I'm guessing under 4 ounces. I am very pleased. Not with the plant as much as how much I know about marijuana itself from watching some videos and logging on to this site.

Dunno just some bagseed. Very scraggly at first and then blew up at the end. Everyone who thinks they should chop should re-evaluate and make sure its time. I wanted to harvest 2 weeks prior to this and I am glad I didnt. The pics are proof

Well, here is an update: The buds have been drying for about 4 days now. They lost half of their weight the first 24 hours. After 2 days of drying (They seemed to dry quickly because of how airy they were) I put them into paper bags. One day later the buds seem to be crispy so I placed them into jars. (10 16oz jars total) I burped them a couple of times already. The first couple of days there was a hay smell, but every time I burp the jars the dank small comes back. I tested it already and it was great!! No harsh taste for how fresh it was. I'm sure by the time im on the 10th jar they will be smooth as butter.
