Why the Black Album Sucked............

So what? You write some of the best songs ever, play the best shows ever, and you can't go out and buy something nice for yourself?

Should they still be living in some shithole in LA? Why?

Go write good music you can make money off of, and tell me if you don't end up looking like one of those goofy hiphop kids with baggy colorful clothing and bling bling.

Shame on you for this one! Why I oughtta :cuss::cuss:

Heartbreakingly cold blooded...

This is why nobody trashes on those fsckin hiphop losers... because they sell out from day 1 looking all flamboyant with their baggy yellow pants, bright red shirt, and pink polkadot hat(YEAH THATS WHAT THEY DO)... at least metallica established the fact that they would slay anyone on guitar... they deserve some nice flipflops and shit...
at least a nice pair of shorts even!

what the hell does this thread have to do with hip hop, and that shit you're talkin bout isnt hip hop - thats hip pop. i understand you are mad sum1 said sumthin bad about your band, but why drag unrelated music into it?

Becasue hip hop is the biggest music fad right now. I'm surprised it's lasted this long. I can't wait for it to go the way of the YoYo.

It IS relevant because this thread is a reference to Metallica selling out... but the fact is that hip hop artists are even BIGGER sell outs... I mean, they sell out before they even get famous...

Who's a bigger douche.. the guy who sells out and buys himself into debt before he finishes his first album, or the dudes who ACTUALLY PLAY AN INSTRUMENT (not some nonsense button pressing on a computer that hiphop artists call music) work for YEARS, and then buy themselves some of the shit they deserve.?

Hiphop = trashcan echos
metallica = the pinnacle of guitar madness.

What are you talkin about inustry? Is that a singer or something, because I'm pretty sure that the hip hop industry is hip hop. I'm pretty sure this thread was started in good humor. Why are yall taking it to heart?

lol at you thinking that 'inustry' is hip hop. its not.

you seem kinda mad....
i'm not mad... im concerned for all those naive souls that believe that what they are listening to is music... ask any of those dudes to pick up a real instrument of their choice and see what they do... aside from sit in a puddle of their own embarrassment because their entire career of success is based upon a lie that every naive soul that relates to their music in some form can believe.

Every song in a nutshell:

Cash
Drugs
Thug lifestyle
Hoes
(the occasional reference to a fast car that is putting them in debt)

The fate of that industry is:

There's nothing left for them, the question is - how long will you keep buying 10 variations of the same song just because theres a different audio track playing in the background, or the words are rearranged.

Rap, hiphop, etc -> Dead

i misspelled a word... wow.

i dont listen to rock or metal music, but i dont trash the music.

GT seemed like he got mad because sum1 said sumthin bad about metalica. he then proceeded to trash 'hip hop' and the people who listen to it.

this thread went from metalica, then to trashing another genre of music. how does that make sense?

no hard feelings from me tho, just didnt understand why.

man, they lost root with their fans is why their new albums suck...

They deserve the money they get, but they should get back to the fan base and respect them too.
