I've been here for ages and made many huge threads full of HD pics and new ideas,growing techniques etc... and i still have less +rep than people that joined only a few months ago.
I don't think it really matters as people know your name or they don't,simple as that and all the +rep in the world wont make anyone listen to you if you talk shit

Agreed,but i have almost 5000 posts and most people have heard of me but i have less rep than some people who i have never even heard of and have less than half the posts that i do.
The rep system is a status symbol more than anything imo anyway
