me, iam.So is anyone around here actually growing any triplenode?
do you know if there is a yield increase with the trinode plants? are they some of the ones you quoted as being so high in thc? or do they have regular thc levels? So is anyone around here actually growing any triplenode?
welcome to RIU.First post. (yeah!)
Couldn't one just pollinate a tricone female plant to produce more tricone seeds to see at such an outrageous price?
Trinode would be easier, but the guy who first stabilized the genetic train got to name it, he sold it as Triplenode so thats what it is.do you know if there is a yield increase with the trinode plants? are they some of the ones you quoted as being so high in thc? or do they have regular thc levels?
I'd really love to see some more pics of other trinode plants. I've only seen one other on RIU.
Isn't 'trinode' easier to say than 'triplenode'? it means the same thing.

starting off with clones of that first freak, especially if it's a girl, would be the best way to start. then you could take some to flower, for seed, and others to create more mothers, for more clones. that would speed the process, as far as generations. more generations growing at once will make inbreeding faster and make the 'strain' more consistent, in a shorter time.Yeah it takes many many generations to stabilize a genetic trait that started out basically as a "mutant" or "freak" plant.
Once you do get some mothers that are triplenode, it takes a lot More time to find other strains that will accept the triplenode genetic trait and pass it on through seeds.
killer weed= LOLFour leaf clover= a pot of gold. Three cotyledons and three leaf marijuana= a shit ton of killer weed

P.S. I understand what you mean now...thanks for the rep.
are your clones trinode also? if so, then, perhaps, they will grow faster than the mother. and/or you can take one to flower, pollinated, by a male/hermie, trinode. then collect seeds, plant one, and if it's trinode, sell them, the seeds, for big $. it would take less than a year to do that, maybe 6 mo. but it may not be a stable strain. that's the fast/iffy way. the sure way would take several years, I think.I have clones from her just to be sure but I don't think it is a plant that I will continue, appears to just be a freak!
It was Mango(Papaya)...I don't think it's any type of Indiga. I believe its Satika, lol. or a mix. It's early but the seedling looks like Afghan to me, or some other Indiga. Mine started out looking like that.

ok, and I did...My friend had one once when I was in high school, but it got eaten by deer. Keep us posted! I would like to follow it's development.

P.S. love your avatar. that is pepe's girlfriend. it's good to see they're on the same track...gettin high!
Triplenode is nothing new. If you read the thread theres lots of info on it. You can even buy triplenode seeds.I guess I'll join in on this thread since I got info for ya.
I posted on a thread about this several months ago. You can go to the Mandala seed site and look at their faq to find out what a triplenode is about.
I got a bunch of afghani fems and one came out like this. Very healthy plant with vigorous growth. The Mandala faq says a small percentage of these plants will be vigorous and mine sure was.
I noticed the top kept growing 3 leaves at each node but the side branches themselves grew like normal branches would and only had 2 leaf nodes. I took a few clones and let it flower.
Wow what a massive cola I had. This thing was so full of bud and so compact. It almost had no empty space up the stem. It capped out at about 30% more weight then the other plants.
Sadly the clones did not take on the triple node trait of the mom but it still grows quite vigorous and gives me 2 1/2 to 3 z's a plant of small compact buds.
