So I just started 4 afghanxmazar, 3 hollands hope, and 2 durban...
I put em outdoor as soon as the sun rises, then under four 40 watt fluoro cool white tubes as soon as it goes down, its an exact 18/6 cycle, just with real sun in between. they seem to be fine right now and they all are about 1 inch, but i need to know if when i bring them in, is that enough lighting for the whole veg stage?

Yeh that should be enough light if theyre gettin good sun but i like to have 1 cool white and 1 warm white in each fixture, also ur pretty likely to bring in unwanted pests like spider-mites when u put em outside, thats wat happened to me.Have a good control ready to go.

dude your more or less doing what im doing.
but instead your vegging still and im inducing flower.
I bring the plant into sunlight at 7:00am....and back inside into darkness at 7:00pm...everyday..its a real drag...but anything for the bud..
i only tried this on one plant (my first) due to no indoor lighting supplies. and here are the results

are you gonna bring them in at night after veging to ?
no im going to flower em naturally outdoor, the reason i bring em in when the sun goes down is cuz its not enuff amount of hours of light for veg, when i decide to flower em, the natural amount of hours of sunlight should just take care of that....
oh and i just found out 2 of the bulbs are soft white and the other two are cool white....is that bad or good? or does it matter at all?

well urs looks pretty good bro, its is a hassle movin em and shit, but my indoor lights are really close to th outdoor plot in my yard so its all good, i think i might need more lights tho, cuz its like 8 plants vegging under only 4 bulbs total, but its cool for now cuz there only a week and a half in.

Hey Zig Zag,

When I switched to Metal Halide for veging and High Pressure Sodium for flowering, I saw a huge difference in development. I still use flouros for cloning. Flouros seem to get that stretch but it's the other two that make the plant full. Pricy to install but worth it...especially if you have more than just a couple of plants.
