Mushrooms have made an assault on my grow. They only sprout on half my grow. I used two different soils to experiment. Never thought of this variable. Anyways, I pluck about 2-4 shrooms per cup of soil a day. I'm wondering is there a way to get rid of them completely??? Help guys

Just repot them... why screw around.... get some promix or perlite to mix with soil for better drainage...shrooms grow in damp and if your soils that damp its not right..... Luck..

You're very right about the damp conditions. They first appeared after there first good watering, and when the top soil became slightly dry they don't seem to grow as well. Thanks you guys

When you grow you need to buy good stuff.. no $1.99 earth, top soil..etc. that shit has wildlife in it.. get the best you can afford.. a good premium potting soil and pro-mix are my favs, at a 50-50% mix...........

I'm doing half my grow in MG, which is looking good for now. The other half is from "Scotts". Which I believe are owned by the same ppl. Anyways it's only the Scotts stuff that's sprouting shrooms.

Well just wanted to thank anyone, and everyone for all the help here. Twistyman, you were 100% correct about the damp conditions. I have everything under control, and some perlite is the trick. Proper drainage=No shrooms
