I was dripping at first, but after a pump failure and several drippers getting clogged, I am just hand watering as needed. I was thinking about having my mothers in some kind of seperate deep culture, maybe five gallon buckets. But to be honest I dont know anything about DWC...yet(got to love RIU). So im going to do some reading to learn more about it.
If you guys know anything about DWC, Im all ears!!!! Check out my set up in my albums. You can see what im working with. Thanks alot!

What kind of drippers are you using? If they're pressure-compensating, you want to use the least amount of pressure... there is a diaphragm-dealy inside that shrinks up with higher pressures which can make it easier to clog. Also should consider using R/O water with the lowest EC nute solution. If you're recirculating you could just do open-ended spaghetti lines, but you need to keep everything on level or if not, find a way to balance pressure between levels with a flow-adjuster or two.

I would just start using soil if I was you. ;-)..... and get an HID too.

:peace:

Because i am just starting out, i bought a cheep starter pack of BC nutes. From what ive sceen so far, they disolve poorly. By the end of the week my res is all chalky. I think that has alot to do with the clogging.

Userfriendly....I have a large RO filter, that I installed a couple months ago. And if you look at my album you can see my 400w HPS.

Ah... all I can make out is some fluoros and reflector, but if you say there's a 400 then I believe you. Water pumps are pretty cheap bro... what are you going to do?

Well my roommate just moved out yesterday, and I finally convinced my girlfriend to let me turn it into a growroom!!! So Im thinking big changes. The room has a closet big enough for a couple mothers and all the vegging plants. And I was thinking about 2 - 4x6 flood tables under 600's on light rails. Do you think a 600 on a rail would do that size table?? Ive got a million ideas running thru my head right now. Ill get back to ya.

Cool man... I was going to feel bummed if you only had that one room for vegging and flowering.

What you describe there would be nice..... a 600 + mover will do great over a 4 x 6 and E & F is just about fool-proof. Stick with hydroton and you'll get very dense nugs; rockwool is not ideal for flooding but for clones, it is very nice.

Good luck bro!
