Please show me your pics of high PH soil problems

I've grown my plants in soil with high ph for a while now. I have been tinkering around with growing new ones. I finally have a cheap PH meter, but I don't think I'm getting the PH low enough still. I think it's still resulting in above 6.8.

If I'm correct this will show FE and MN deficiencies. Is this right? If you have pics of this so I can compare, this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

As common as PH problems are, is there not one person who has taken shots of their garden when working with higher PHs? Hell low PH for that matter? Anyone?

this is zinc def. from the growfaq... common sign of high ph

of course I checked the faqs. I feel that is helpful, but very limited. They should be re written and re organized I think personally. The pics kind of all look the same. I would like to see more examples of deficiencies, problems etc...
Thanks.

i think this is ph problem but cant check cause aint got anything to test with.or am i wrong?:bigjoint:
what soil is it???? looks like a combination of overwatering and nute burn... if you over water a soil with added nutes like mg it will release more nutes and kill your plant

moisture stress is a killer and not knowing ph doesnt help

b and q compost with perlite, water when gets really dry til comes out of pot, did use a little mg but very very little, thought leaves would be darker with to much nutes, never had this prob on last grow but made these seeds myself, x thc bomb and bubblegum.

excess nitrogen would cause dark leaves but over feeding will yellow and brown and dry up\ burn leaves, lock out vital nutes, root rots. whats diffrnt this grow??? new tent, new light, whats the humidity, good circulation??? you gotta find out your ph

do you water when it looks dry or when it actually is???

i water when dry, i go by pot weight, your prob right prob over fed, everything else is the same, will invest in a good ph tester i guess

i would double check the pot weight thing too next time you think you need to water poke your finger into the soil up to the second knuckl and feel it just to be sure... if you feel moisture wait another day a good ph tester is definatly needed if you are constantly watering with the wrong ph than thats a good place to start, if everything is the same as your last grow than it could just be the strain is a little more sensative than the last you grew and just needs a little less love. and when feeding just remember less is more.

i am srry i couldnt help more but i have never been that great at diagnosis, only thing i can say is ive had plants look like that and it was over watering and or feeding. its harde to say when i am not there and dnt know the history of the plant, most times if i have a problem its my own fault and im like dumbass it looks like that because what you did to it the other day, so maybe thats another thing to look at... what have you done to it in the last week??? nutes??? flush???

every time i look at the picture i think overwatering and root rot but maybe give it some time and sumone thats a lil better at diagnossis can pop in and take a look

how tall is the plant... lower leaves can look like that from being in the shade and kept wet

guys with the ferilizer and nute burn...or over fertilizing

This can be totally avoided....When using your fertilizer use only 1/2 of the amount of fertilizer per gallon that the directions call for.

Everytime I water ( 2 times a week) I add fertilizer to my water...never get a salt build up from the fert or nute lock

I use Greenleaves Grow juice...the only fert with a built in ph buffer and meterage......the fertilizer when added to water will change the waters color to show your ph level

http://www.ecogrow.com/index.cfm/product/19/mid/10/nid/42/home.html

Greenleaves Grow Juice (2-1-3) is a complete nutrient formula that contains all major, secondary and trace elements from natural sources Grow Juice is pH buffered to correct most pH problems and has a unique visual color indicator for instant pH assessment.

Grow Juice contains a color coded pH monitor which yields acidic pH (6.0-6.5) when mixed with distilled or tap water. The applicable color scale and corresponding pH are as follows: yellow PH 6.0-6.7; orange PH 6.8-7.8; purple: greater than 7.8.
